OMG lighten the F$%^&k up

all the names here are characters   - save a very few

as in:   an odd, eccentric, or unusual person

and the few who use real names -write as they would speak in public

the success of this board is based on the fact that the behavior by attendes at town meetings is best described as poor

booing and mocking those who speak at meetings is deplorable

it is a fact of life  - the truth hurts

on the subject of the water main break

the water dept gets a warm hearted "thank you, great job" on such a bitterly cold day

Why thank you GB!  I may be the most Liberal on this board but even I will admit DVR is a far cry from what I see as democratic philosophy.

Where is my apology from the rest of you thugs???  Cicero??  BT??  Come on boys say you're sorry.

I am very much a Democrat and have been all my life.  The fact that my political philosophy is more in line with John Kennedy, "Scoop" Jackson, and Sam Stratton does not make me any less of a Democrat than you or someone "more to the left".

BTW -- if you were are so much more of a Democrat than me .. join the committee and give us a hand.  It is always easier to say you are more of a Democrat but backing it up with actual labor is another thing.

DVR--you must be kidding.  I have done enough for Democrats in this town.  No one is more or less of a democrat--you either subscribe to that philosphy or you don't.  You pick and choose like it's the Swedish Smorgasbord at Mallozi's.  I am an Albany County Dem who has been asked to run in town both by Reps and Dems.  Not interested.  And I am sorry DVR, you are NO John Kennedy.  You guys are in a free fall and if not careful could end up like Reps.

The fact of the matter is that there are a lot of moderate and conservative Democrats.  John Kennedy was certainly more conservative than his brothers, Robert and Edward, were.    That is just a plain fact of history.  Quitefrankly, I don't need you to tell me what is or is not the party's philosophy -- because I have been a life long member of the party and I know that I am in the company of a lot of other Democrats who share my same views.   And if you don't like that -- too bad -- because we are not leaving  the party.   So you'll just have to get used to that.

The town Democratic committee is in very good hands and in very good shape.   Much better than it has been in the past 5 or 6 years.   And we will continue to become stronger and do what need to do to get folks elected and do what is good for our residents.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
