The internet......I'm just so angry that this guy got away with what he was doing for so long.....this isn't even about choice or whether or not
abortions should be legal or illegal.....this guy was given a license and allowed to continue...for whom?

Live birth abortions are not uncommon.  The only difference between this guy and other abortion doctors is, he uses scissors to end the baby's life quickly, when apparently the humane way to do it is to let them sit on a table for 8 hours and allow them to die the long slow death.  How does the Hippocratic Oath allow a doctor to not treat?  I guess what I don't understand is, if a woman is willing to have a late-term or live birth abortion and is going to get chemically induced to go into labor, why don't they just give the child up for adoption?

EXACTLY.  It's more money for the Dr's if they provide a procedure such as abortion instead of "delivery". Women are brainwashed into thinking that abortion is "the only way" to be free of it.  They tell you that you'll have psychological harm if you actually deliver. News flash - when you regain your senses, grow up - or get off the drugs, the reality that you killed a baby instead of delivery is FAR more difficult to overcome.

That is true, women are told it IS their body and nobody else can tell them what to do with their body.  So even if the "penis" wanted to take responsibility for his actions and keep the baby, they have no choice in the matter.  I don’t think they keep statistics of men who didn’t want to abort and were willing to take care of the baby but the women went ahead with the abortion.

So actually, the way it is taught now, women are the only ones held responsible for a pregnancy since men have no say in the decision.  Legally and morally men have been exonerated of fault.  Women can say no before conception occurs (excluding rape) and yes to abortion after.  Women set the rules before and after conception, it is their body.

I guess if you believe that the living fetus laying on a stainless steel table in a hospital waiting for the heart to stop beating and stop breathing isn't protected by the Constitution.  The government’s responsibility according to conservatives is to protect the rights of weak from being violated by the strong and powerful.  I don't know any greater display of human right violations than a government sanctioned abortion where a defenseless fetus is left laying on a table to die. JMO

Have to say one thing here. With all the HIV warnings, STD scare, etc..etc, we live in a time where birth control is available practically everywhere and to everyone. It's not like we are doing the rhythm method folks. We are an age of freedom and many choices with regards to birth control.

One of MTV's highest rated series involves pregnant, unwed teens, thus gloriying the stupidity that not using birth control can get you on reality tv.

We have totally ignored the reality that both men and women are able to prevent pregnancy, yet they chose not to. With all that society has in place, there should be a close to zero abortion rate.

CPS is available for those who believe that Child Abuse is acceptable.

I have no problem with a zygote, a diseased appendix, a fingernail, 100 pounds of fat from liposuction, or many other forms of human tissue laying on a stainless steel hospital  table.

Live birth abortions are illegal. If you know of any, please report them to the authorities.

Statutory Definition of Legal Abortion:     Within first 24 weeks or necessary to preserve mother's life.
Penalty for Unlawful Abortion:     If not justifiable abortional act and after 24 wks., Class E or D felony; if woman dies from act, Class B felony.

Later term abortions should only be permitted in the most dire of circumstances.  Frankly I guess I would have to think what it would be.  This story is horrific.

But yes it is the 'woman's' responsibility. The woman made it her sole responsibility under roe vs wade. The woman pretty much gave the male a 'free pass'. They can impregnate as many times and with whomever they choose.
