No Bumble it wasn't.

Giffords and her crew were outside of a busy shopping plaza... Most of the people there were shopping and only a relative few were at Giffords table which was outside of one of the stores.
Many of the 911 calls came from people inside the stores who heard the shots and saw the gunman shooting outside.

Arizona has very lax gun laws where most citizens can carry guns even concealed guns... yet and old wounded lady and two bystanders had to take down the gunman.

What's your point?

I peek in on MSNBC on occasion, and I've noticed that they are transitioning from the embarrassing "blame right wing rhetoric" stories as a reason for the shooting,  to the anti-gun stories.  I can see you are following like a good sheep.  You lefties are so predictable.

As someone who spends time in AZ, I can say that one always feels far safer there than in Sh!tnecktitty where murders and home invasions are commonplace enough that no one thinks they matter. I would feel much greater need to be armed walking  around in the socialist tyrant's paradise than in AZ. Even with the violent an crazed Mexie drug rings and illegal criminal aliens that are there. That is because if you took the lowlife illegals in drug gangs and criminal intruders out of the state you would have the safest state in America for all intensive purposes. Sadly enough people like BoxOsh!t who wants to tamp down our speech and strip our constitutional rights and make this a left wing police state wants to mock the free people of a state that he hates for standing up for itself in the face of an alien invasion.

Just wait, Box. When the right to speech is eliminated and there is a conservative in office, you may be the one singing a different tune in regards to dissent. We know it is people like you who want to use our flag for toilet paper, and you want to strip the crosses off veterans' graves. You hate it that we know you and the darkness in your heart. Wait until you run your mouth as you always do. Then let the tribunals begin. I volunteer for jury duty.

I SAY: "SARAH PALIN WILL BE THE ONE WHO TAKES AWAY OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO CRITICIZE OUR GOVERNMENT!" WOW, THAT IS SOME POWER THE LEFT HAS GIVEN HER! NOW WAIT UNTIL WE USE IT!!!!!! Thank you, left wing!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Quoted Text
TUCSON, Ariz. – A wildlife officer pulled over the suspect in the assassination attempt against an Arizona congresswoman less than three hours before the deadly attack, authorities said Wednesday as they pieced together more details of a frenzied morning.

Jared Lougher ran a red light but was let off with a warning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, the Arizona Game and Fish Department said. The officer took Loughner's driver's license and vehicle registration information but found no outstanding warrants on Loughner or his vehicle.

Wildlife officers don't usually make traffic stops unless public safety is at risk, such as running a red light, the department said in a news release, which didn't say where the stop took place.

It's the latest evidence of Loughner's busy morning before police say he shot and killed six and wounded more than a dozen at a Tucson grocery store.

Also that morning, Loughner, 22, ran into the desert from his angry father, who was chasing his son after seeing him remove a black bag from the trunk of a family car, said Rick Kastigar, chief of the department's investigations bureau. Investigators are still searching for the bag.

apparently they all have great respect for the power of a gun....and did act rationally....anyone ever take a gun course? apparently they
were smart enough to know the consequences of using their own gun....guns are for personal safety not being a vigilante out to
save everyone/anyone, that's what the police are for......

There is no such thing as lax gun laws.....but there is such thing as lax brain use by people.....I would like to know the percentage
of crazies, to criminals to accidents...so we have 2 choices here...

a. those in power would have to say that society(being us, all of us including them) are crazy ill-equiped morons with the inability to be
rational, in which case we would cease to be America

b. those in power would just have to deal with the situation as is and let our fabulous justice system do exactly what it was made for--
render the consequences to the individual(s) that are responsible as to protect American society from THOSE irrational folks

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I don't believe that this tragedy was politically motivated.

Putting that issue aside, what I do believe and am appalled at is the political left and the left media. I have never seen such anti-Semitic, racist, political correctness, bullying, financial corruptness, abandoning of the constitution, bankrupting american, bribery and the force of social programs in my lifetime. The liberal socialists have created an environment where the american people are uneasy about not only their financial future, but their freedoms.

The liberal socialists have painted the american people in an uncomfortable corner and guised it with 'political correctness'. The liberal socialists have bullied the american people with their political agenda using every scare tactic legally and sometime illegal they can think of to ram their agendas through.

The liberal socialists can't 'sell their bill of goods' to the american people so they are resorting to bullying and fear tactics. The liberal socialists create it and the liberal media sells it and expect the people to accept it. Well they don't. This administration should be ashamed of what they have created in the white house and what they have done to the american people.

And as far as the climate in the country today.....it solely falls at the feet of the present administration.

Don't get me wrong....I have my issues with the right as well. Just for different reasons! IMHO of course!

And perhaps this all falls under the guise of 'hate speech'.....I really don't know what is or isn't anymore!!

No, I will be printing everything you ever post or say, and in about 2 years and 10 days, expect the knock on the door. The authorities can deal with you then for "inflammatory rhetoric and hate speech."

Consequences of irresponsible speech
January 13, 2011  by John de Rosier, Times Union
http://blog.timesunion.com/opinion/consequences-of-irresponsible-speech/8691/

Right wing ideology that questions the legitimacy of the U.S. government is responsible for creating a climate in which Jared Loughner could do what he did, says Jacob Weisberg in Slate. It’s not the direct cause, but it created an environment where such an act was reasonable.

liberal malarkey...
Lets make gun ownership illegal tomorrow and see what happens..
Besides people getting killed by guns you will now get people getting killed BECAUSE of guns.

After all, keeping drugs illegal has done wonders, hasn't it?
