Fox was actually disgusting in their reporting.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Loughner stalked Giffords for three years
By DOUGLAS MONTERO in Tucson, Ariz., and CATHY BURKE in NY

He had her in his cross hairs for years.

The crackpot gunman charged in the frenzied ambush of Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Saturday had stashed handwritten messages in his basement safe bearing the chilling words: "Gifford," "My assassination" and "I planned ahead," authorities said yesterday.

Accused killer Jared Lee Loughner, 22, signed at least one of the pieces of paper, which he put in a single envelope and placed in the safe at his parents' modest one-story home in the northwest section of the city, according to charges filed yesterday in federal court in Phoenix.

Also inside the safe was a letter on Giffords' congressional stationery thanking Loughner for attending one of her "Congress on your Corner" events at a mall in Tucson in 2007.

Loughner had asked Giffords at the event, "What is government if words have no meaning?" according to two friends from high school.

A former classmate, Caitie Parker -- who has called the suspect "left wing" and "a pothead" -- tweeted that after that event, Loughner said he thought Giffords was "stupid" and "unintelligent."

That mall event was the same type Loughner invaded Saturday, when he shot Giffords point-blank in the head and killed six others, authorities said.

The same year that Loughner attended the event with Giffords, he began a descent into drug use and erratic behavior, records show.........................>>>>...................>>>>..................http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/psycho_stalked_pol_for_years_HBSCJ3HN9Iq0eykMUWjeSL

Well if you don't fight to get the facts out, there will be no free speech tomorrow. This is the Ok City bombing all over again. They tried to shut down talk radio then and they want a bigger grab now. I am not rolling over. I know that to the libs, a man who won't back down is dangerous. But I am not letting this be Obama's Reichstag fire.

I'm hearing people already saying dissent and so called negative politics should be banned. Who was it that stated "don't let a crisis go to waste".

That would be former Obama Cheif of Staff Rahm Emanuel.  Americans seem to forfeit their liberties for promises of safety.  And politicians know it.

You can not rationalize irrational behavior.

Besides the shooter, the real scum are the politicians on BOTH sides using this for political leverage.
The shooter was a loon... The tea party didn't make him do it, neither did Sarah Palin.
There will always be loons...from Booth to Oswald to Surhan to James Earl Ray

When I read the paper today on B2 at the top- there is an article about a group called "SCOPE."

I think taking the name of a firearm apparatus is reprehensible and that it implies that the group's goal is to use guns in the political process. Do they wish to incite the public to SHOOT members of the previous school administration? Do they realize that the extreme use of violent imagery and words could and will provoke people to use guns to settle political differences? They need to be repudiated.

Fred Phelps, the head pastor of the Westboro Baptist Church, has announced that God "appointed" the Tucson shooter to "avenge himself on this evil nation."

Jared Lee Loughner, 22, is the alleged Tucson shooter who wounded 18, including Rep. Gabrielle "Gabby" Giffords, and killed six, at a political event near a Tucson Safeway store. Among those dead were a Giffords' aide, a nine-year-old girl, Christina Taylor Green, and a federal judge, John Roll.

Fred Phelps and his church have picketed, or attempted to picket, several military funerals, saying that the military deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan are the result of God's vengeance over what he says is the tolerance that America shows the LGBT community.

Their latest high-priority pickets will take place at the funerals of the Tucson shooting victims. In particular, they will target the the funeral of Christina Taylor Greene, the aforementioned 9-year-old.

Additionally, in a YouTube video (below), Phelps applauds the killings. He says, "Thank God for the violent shooter, one of Your soldier heroes in Tucson. God appointed the Afghanistan veteran to avenge himself on this evil nation. However many are dead, Westboro will picket their funerals."

One clarification is that so far, it's been reported that Jared Lee Loughner was rejected from military service. This was said in a direct statement from the Pentagon.

Now I will open myself up for charges of violence for my violent discourse and imagery:

"Go F yourself, buddy, and leave the vaseline home."

COLUMBIA — U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in Congress, said Sunday the deadly shooting in Arizona should get the country thinking about what's acceptable to say publicly and when people should keep their mouths shut.

Clyburn said he thinks vitriol in public discourse led to a 22-year-old suspect opening fire Saturday at an event Democratic U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords held for her constituents in Tucson, Ariz. Six people were killed and 14 others were injured, including Giffords.

The shooting is cause for the country to rethink parameters on free speech, Clyburn said from his office, just blocks from the South Carolina Statehouse. He wants standards put in place to guarantee balanced media coverage with a reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, in addition to calling on elected officials and media pundits to use 'better judgment.'

'Free speech is as free speech does,' he said. 'You cannot yell ‘fire' in a crowded theater and call it free speech and some of what I hear, and is being called free speech, is worse than that.'

Isn't it funny how the hippy lovers of the past are claiming that the The Tea Party Movement is causing alot of dissent......HOW DARE THEY!!!
Was it not the college hippies who marched on Washington...who told their parents they were to old....who didn't want to be ruled by 'the man'....and now
here they are faced with The Tea Party Movement, of which I might add is made up of older folks--their kids, and not just wet-behind the ears kids as
they were.....sorry...you made us....it's your history we follow.....the only thing you forgot is that love/caring cannot be legislated(I forgot, alot of you were on drugs at the time)....maybe the Beatles can lead us out of this mess.....

Remember this is America-----NOT the Yellow Submarine

What you don't hear or read from the main stream media, is that this nut job wacko was stalking Giffords since 2007!!!

BEFORE Palin or the tea party EVER came on the scene!! This is just a pathetic attempt from the left, to salvage the crumbs they have left.

Remember........the 'right' won in november.....and it appears that the 'left' is pissed!

American government (all of them) is so corrupt and driven by greed and power, that they will take this horrific tragedy and politicize it for their political benefit!!

this tragedy is sadly the result of a delusional, schizo nut job wacko......and it has been going on with this nut job since 2007!!!

I would like to know why Sheriff Dupnik who knew about this nut job since 2007 didn't do anything about him until he killed someone.
