Bottomline, I know what I pay for trash removal every month ... and it is  2.54 times more than the $165
trash fee that a single family residence is charged in the city.

All you seem to be able to do is make insults about me, members of my family and others -- you can't
actually engage in an intelligent conversation.

You REFUSE to admit that you are WRONG.   A single family house pays MUCH more than the $165 "fee"

Why do you absolutely REFUSE to factor in the amount that is paid through the "regular" taxes????????????????   WHy do you REFUSE to ADD that amount on to the $165 ?????????

Most likely beause you don't know diddly squat about taxes in the city, you have NO CLUE what property taxes are for nor what they pay for.  You just want to twist things and make it SEEM like city taxes are not high.   SOOOOOOOOOOO   WHY, WHY WHY WHY do you REFUSE to move INTO the city and pay those taxes??????   Why don't you become a responsible and independent adult, get a job and start paying taxes to the city you think is the miracle.

Gee, DV, if you think the city is so wonderful, then you better buy a house now while the property values are so low.  I mean wouldn't it be better to bujy a house for $50,000 so that when this renaissance THAT YOU CLAIM the city is in the midst of, buy the house now and you will get a big return when it increases to $200,000 in value?   That's whatnormal people do.  But, most likely you won't do that because, well, you don't want to pay the high taxes, you don't want to live with all the crime, you know it's not going to change, and probably too you know it's probably impossible to get approved for a mortgage without a job.

Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

I favor consolidating the entire county into a single City-County --- so when that happens I will live in the
City of Schenectady.

The FACT is that a single family residence pays a $165 fee each year for trash removal -- you know that
is true.   Since the towns do not provide trash removal and the city does .. in order to compare apples with
apples ..one has to compare the fee for trash removal that the city property owners with the fee that town property owners pay for trash removal.

BTW -- did you ever get your tricycle out of the snow bank or are you still crying in the snow ?

Great reason for you to move there, into one of the vacant properties that pays the "garbage fee" even though it doesn't generate trash.
