Having seen the bodies of fire victims, I know that they can be in various conditions from unburned to charred. Some people are killed by the smoke and their bodies are unscathed by the flames. Some people are burned so badly that their bodies literally meld to the fabric of the furniture that they were on.

Then, this year, on January 3, 2011, at 12:25 p.m. the Schenectady Police department announced the results of the autopsy.
