I CANNOT believe what I just heard on the radio!   There is Brian Stratton, introducing himself, saying that if you have difficulty paying your mortgage, you should call your bank!

ROFLMAO ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !


This Stratton is running really scared.  NO, do NOT call your bank.  Call Stratton and tell him that you are having problems coming up with the funds to send out that monthly ayment to the bank because, as in the case with many, the tax portion is more than the principal plus interest itself!!!!!!!!!!    

Call the mayor's office and tell him that you can't afford to pay the property & school taxes for all the millionaires' properties downtown.  

Actually, this is one good one to take to the media, and encourage people to call the city.

And I wonder how much tax dollars was spent on this commercial.

Today is December 23.  In just three week time, the financially struggling people in the city will be paying for:
INCREASE in city taxes
INCREASE in county taxes
INCREASE in water taxes

I can't remember, is the sewer tax a percentage of the water tax?  If so, then there will be an increase in the sewer tax also

And, I can't remember, isn't there an increase in the trash tax this year too?

Let's not forget that Stratton wanted a curb tax, thank goodness that fell through


Oh, but DV claims all the tax money spent downtown is doing wonders for the city.  Funny, he never provides an explanation of how he arrives at that statement.  I mean, look at ALL the taxes going UP UP UP.  And the crime that is going UP UP UP.  And the people fleeing the city in droves.
