Just curious, any local reps show up?

Tom Buchanon, Joe Suhrada, Carolina Lazzari
Buchanon & Suhrada left early because of a local REP meeting . . . .

GB--I know why several business owners on Hamburg Street are miffed with McGarry.  It was his attitutde at an IDA meeting where he denigrated the Hamburg businesses by being less than helpful to another business owner.  He was rude and dismissive  as I understand.  Don't live in Rotterdam any longer but still do business there.  In the diner once a week.  McGarry does not have the support you are imagining.  Didn't know there was a fundraiser for McGarry.  Most have only invited a select group.

I have nothing against BM but he is two different people (all politicians are) and I have seen the good side and the bad. If BM runs a primary against the reps whether he wins or loses it he will lose the overall race. His best bet is to drop all ties to the NNTP (by the way NNTP does not even exist at this moment anyways they still have yet to get the signatures needed to start it up again) and talk to the reps as a rep and not as a man demanding the rep leadership make him the endorsed canidate.

Mr. Lantern, you are LOONEY!  There is not a Republican out there more electable than Mcgarry, if you think differently then pleeeease tell us who?

Where are you coming up with "a man demanding rep leadership make him the endorsed candidate"?  It looks to me like he has announced he is going to run and anticipates a primary.  YOU have defended primaries, so I would imagine you have no issue with this.

If Mcgarry is getting a lot of support from his "NNTP" group, why in thw world would he abandon them?  You are crazy!

I am entertained by the fact that you keep picking losers, every time.

The only  names I hear circulating for a rotterdam rep supervisor endorsement is ST and ND....although unsupported by  most reps.  I hear that most reps will support BM.

People believe that BM would win a primary if one should happen. The rotterdam reps must be reminded that BM will win AT LEAST the same amount of votes he received last time around. Only this time there will be even more. I think the rotterdam reps should think long and hard before they dismiss a potential candidate who is not only doing all of his own work, but also is GUARANTEED votes coming into the race.

BL is mad because McGarry has the Reps painted into a corner.  If they don't endorse they may lose the primary.  Even if they win the primary, McGarry is "all in" and will obtain signatures for NNTP and run on a third party line.  Reps at best could serve as a spoiler to McGarry as they have no one that can beat him, just someone who might take votes from him.  The bottom line is, Who is the candidate that has the best chance of winning, AND, would be a good fit for Supervisor?  You can play to "spoil" all you want, but at the end of the day, what have you left the electorate with????

If there is a REP primary-so be it. For once let the rank and file pick a candidate. After the past 2 years whoever wins would be a strong favorite.

Getting all new County Legislators must be a higher priority. The current County lineup of Landslide Savage and her 12 DEM stooges is a total failure. People are watching just to see Cuban style government in "action". No debate-no comments-no problems.

Just make sure they aren't all 'white men'. Savage don't like that!

Speaking about that, Jim Buhrmaster was also at the fund raiser along with Holly?? (County REP), and another gentleman ( who helped work on Chris Gibson's campaign against Murphy.  There was some "power" in attendance.

What does the Rep leadership have to offer anyways?  Money?  Organization?  Volunteers?  Seems to me Mcgarry has all of that on his own.

IMHO, the only ones to benefit from endorsing Mcgarry are the Reps themselves.

Endorsing BM would benefit the ROTTERDAM RESIDENTS!!!
That should be the goal.....no?
