It is really a very simple idea to comprehend.

Charter Schools receive property tax dollars but the property owners have NO vote on their budget
or their school boards.  That is wrong -- therefore they should NOT be funded through our local property
tax dollars.

Parents can CHOOSE to send their children to Charter Schools .. but they should bear 100% of the cost for
them by paying tuition and raising money to support the school.

Just say NO to Charter Schools.

Uh, DV, would you care to explain how parents are supposed to pay tuition with their incomes and super high taxes???????   Can you answer that??????

DV, please explain why you want to deny parents the right to choose their  childrens education unless they are rich.     Can you answer that?????   Come on DV, why would you deny choice to lower income parents?   Why would you FORCE lower income people to send their children to failing, and often violent schools.  Why DV, why???????

Uh, DV, the taxpayers have NO VOTE ON METROPLEX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   DV, instead of being the optimist you try to claim to me, why don't you start being a realist.   The taxpayers of the city of Schenetady do NOT, and I repeat do NOT have a vote on Metroplex projects.  There is NO BUDGET put to the voters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, answer the question......total household income for families in the city of Schenectady is typically a paltry $30,000.   You have the NEVER to tell parents they can CHOOSE private schools or they could CHOOSE charter schools if they pay for it themselves.

DV, tell us WHERE are the families supposed to get money to pay tuition to charter schools (if tuition was charged)???????   Can you answer that??????   Tell us DV!!!!

Stop avoiding answering the question!!!!!!!!!!      Ya know if your those GREEDY retired school teachers weren't getting paid their fat pensions, maybe taxes would be lower.  At almost $60,000 a year PLUS GENEROUS health insurance, how much is that over 20 years of retirement??????    Huh??????    Huh?????   Then add in the COLA's.   Hmmmmm?

You won't answer because you are too embarrased to admit you are wrong.
