It is funny to see MC chasing his/her own tail. What an idiot.

Of course, MT is also following MC's tail ... he/she must like the smell.

It's even funnier to see the sta-puft marshmallow man run when he can't answer questions based on facts.
How's it feel to know you have maybe ONE person on these forums that agrees with you?
Has there been even one who has agreed with DV?
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

why don't you have anything to say on the two armed robberies within 48 hours in broad daylight.
But crme is down, huh? Show us those statistics......they're in your dreams, that's all. THere are no FBI stats that show crime in down in Schenectady, and the proof of that fact is that you can't provide any proof whatsoever that proves what you said

YOu're the one who wants to have "intelligent discussion." Well, the topic of the day is Cornell's being a victim of armed robbery for the second time in less than four months. And there were two armed robberies within 48 hours within a few blocks of each other IN BROAD DAYLIGHT.
So why do you avoid discussing it. It made big news in the newspaper, on radio, and top story on TV.
This is a MAJOR STORY in Schenectady. WHY do you avoid any discussion whatsoever? Rather embarrasing to realize your "renaissance" is falling apart.
It's a "criminal renaissance"

Now the monkey is mad .... too bad wittle baby ... go stamp your feet and throw your tantrum someplace else ... someplace where someone actually gives a damn what you think or say.

DVR --MC is right. This amount of criminal activity in 48 hours is a lot. Schenectady stinks in responding to crime. And crime is not down. Speak To Rev. Phil Grigsby if you think so. I AM a DEM who supports almost every Dem initiative but I can tell you the police and the city have a lot of explaining to do.

According to official FBI statistics for the past decade ... certain types of crime are down in Schenectady .. that is what I stated in my post a couple months ago. I never said ALL crime was down. I also know Rev. Grigsby as I used to attend SICM meetings for many years as a parish representative and our parish is a member of SICM and supportive of its efforts.
The bottom line is this ... I am NOT going to answer any questions from MC because the he-she has been disrespectful to me and to my family. The he-she has posted numerous lies about me. I can choose whose questions that I will respond to on this website and whose I will ignore. and I have chosen to ignore the little monkey's questions. If the he-she decides to apologize and start acting with some respect, I may consider answering the he-she's questions -- but I seriously doubt that the he-she has the ability to conduct him-herself in a polite manner.

DV is REALLY suffering from a major case of dementia. On October 16, 2010 (couple months ago) at 9:58 p.m., this is what DV wrote. This is copied and pasted, therefore it is DV'S EXACT WORDS VERBATIM:

The crime rate is down in Schenectady -- including murders -- according to the FBI crime statistics. Downtown Schenectady has turned the corner .. and is coming back to life.
Gee, gues you forgot what you wrote, huh?
Now, would you care to explain the facts, DV?????? Here are the official facts. Where did you learn your math? Show us your fake numbers from your fake FBI statistics. Why do you refuse to provide proof of what you say???????? Huh????????? If you want credibility, then you better start providing proof of your statements --- like I do because I SPEAK THE UNDISPUTABLE UNDENIABLE TRUTH!!!!!!!!! And not only do I have the supporting documentation, I provide it on these boards, complete with links to official websites. Therefore, I am totally 100% credible

ALBANY -- Here's the bad news: Crime is rising in the Capital Region's cities. Now here's the good part: Depending on where you live, violent crime could be going down. The most recent figures from the state Division of Criminal Justice Services, which tracks crime statistics and trends, showed that crime is increasing in the cities of Albany, Schenectady and Troy.
But unlike Schenectady and Troy, violent crime is dropping in Albany. New York's capital city has also seen wide drops in violent and non-violent crime since 2000, while Schenectady and Troy have witnessed increases in both areas in that time. In Schenectady, the rate of index crimes increased 7.8 percent between 2009 to 2010 covering January to November both years. Violent crime increased 18.4 percent over the span and property crime increased 5.8 percent.
Despite the city's general increase in crime over the last 10 years, Schenectady had been seeing crime reductions since 2006, when rapes, robberies and burglaries all surged. But index crimes have risen from 343 for October 2009 to 456 for September 2010. That includes rises over that span in rapes (2 to 7), robberies (20 to 33), burglaries (74 to 115), larcenies (206 to 251) and aggravated assaults (28 to 33)….
Neither Chaires nor Miller, the Albany police spokesman, definitively attributed crime increases to the recession. Chaires was skeptical it would factor into crimes such as robberies. From 2000 to 2009, Schenectady has seen increases in index crime, violent crime, murder --from three to seven -- aggravated assaults, robbery, burglary, car theft and larcenies, but a drop in rapes from 44 to 31.
Crime increases
Percentage of increase for all index crimes (murder, rape, robbery, larceny, burglary, aggravated assault) from 2009 to 2010 over same time period of January through September: Schenectady: 7.8 percent
Percentage of increase in violent crime (murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assaults): Schenectady: 18.4 percent
Percentage of increase in property crime (burglary, larceny, car theft): Schenectady: 5.8 percent
Index crimes (murder, rape, robbery, larceny, burglary, aggravated assault) over the past decade:
Schenectady: In 2000: 3,177. In 2005: 3,687. In 2009: 3,928.
Soooooooo, DV, uh, you DO see an INCREASE IN THE PAST DECADE, contrary to your fake numbers that you cannot provide one shred of proof????? Well??????
