Why would you suggest that?

It's personal.......trust me!

Start at this website, http://www.rotterdamida.org/main/meetings.htm, then FOIL for the details.

You know BT it is interesting that you can only call things personal because your pea-sized brain can't comprehend a bigger picture.  Tell me WHY it would be personal.

Not personal at all STUPID.  I supported the NNTP in lots of ways.  Turns out McGarry like the rest of them, was not what he purported to be.  I am not the "business" person he was rude to.  He attacked the Hamburg St. business owners.  So once again--you are wrong.  You will be one of the reasons I will urge people NOT to support that party again.

I attended one of the candidate forums that the NNTP put on last year -- quite frankly their ideas are too
far to the extreme right.

Yes the NNTP people are Cons--they are right of Atilla the Hun.  But there is room at the table for everyone.  Too bad McGarry has alienated some of the business community.

I have reviewed some of the minutes of the recent RIDA meetings and it was Brian who advocated for the Hamburg St merchants and suggested that they be in line for funding.    BT is correct...it's a personal thing with Boomer.

Tonight's meeting had a couple of previously undisclosed highlights...

FDG and BG conveniently missed an item in Monday's agenda meeting that they tried to slip through tonight...one that would not have only put
the Defect on the list of poll inspectors for Tuesday's tax referendum, but put her "in charge"! LOL!! FDG and BG apparently hand picked a list of
20 people who would be designated inspectors...13 of the 20 were not on the list of trained poll inspectors provided by the Board of Elections...the
Defect was one of the 13. ND managed to change the resolution to accept the full list of 126 trained inspectors who are experienced election poll
workers and are Rotterdam residents, from which to replace the unqualified inspectors...then committed to personally contacting those individuals
to secure replacements for the "just friends of FDG and BG" portion of the list.

Also, a group of students from Schalmont H.S. made a surprise appearance...to present the findings of a survey they conducted on...get this...the
ambulance tax district. It was conducted on Election Day this year using samples from polling places all around Town...a written report was circulated
along with the agendas. In short, it found that 58% of the sample were not in favor of creating a new taxing district...74% did not want a tax
increase...55% were unaware of the referendum...64% made ZERO ambulance calls in the last five years...91% had health insurance...9% owned
a business. Like the list of crony poll inspectors, this presentation was not mentioned in the agenda meeting Monday.
