Quoted from GrahamBonnet
As I said, democraps, being true to their totalitarian spiritual godfathers (the communists and NAZIS) like to use the heavy hand of the police to harass, intimidate, threaten and imprison their opponents rather than compete in the marketplace of ideas, especially since they usually lose in that marketplace worse than a one legged jackass in a packmule competition.

Funny thing is ... if it is the Pat that I think it is ... she is the one who made the mistake of considering
me one of her opponents.    And it was her post, that was worded in a mean and nasty tone in the attempt
to harass, intimidate, and threaten.

So I guess one could say that she drew her inspiration from the "totalitarian spiritual godfathers" when she
launched her threatening, insult-filled tirade against me.

The nice thing about living in America -- is that a person has a Constitutionally protected freedom of speech

The only one that wouldn't be ridiculed making for that "threat" is the Sta-Puft marshmallow man.

Shoe fit?

.. I will be calling the Schenectady Police Chief in the morning to
have him look into your threat.

ROFLMAO

Secretary:     Good morning, Chief Chaire's office
DV:              Good morning, I need to speak to Chief Chaire's immediately, my life has been threatened, I am in jeopardy.
Secretary:     Oh, right away, may I tell him who is calling?
DV:              Of course, my name is ___________ and I live at ______________
Secretary:     Thank you, one moment please.

Chief:           Good morning, Mr ________, this is Chief Chaires, my secretary tells me that your life has beeen threatened?
DV:              YES YES!
Chief:           And do you know who is threatening you?
DV:              Yes I do
Chief:           Who is it, and do you know where the person is located, a description of this person, (etc.)
DV:               She goes by the name "Pat Z" on a Rotterdam message board.   I don't know where she lives
Chief             Do you have a description of her, a last name?
DV:               No, I'm sorry, but
Chief            (interrupting DV)  Mr _____ you have a computer name, not a real name, and.....
DV               (interrupting Chief).   But Chief, she has threatened me...
Chief            (interrupting DV)   You have a computer name that is written as Pat Z, you say "she," is this a Patrick?  Or a Patricia?   We don't even know whether we are dealing with a male or female?
DV                (interrpting)   But you don't understand, (raising voice), MY LIFE HAS BEEN THREATENED!
Chief:            OK, calm down, tell me how your life has been threatened, what has happened?
DV                This Pat Z wrote a message to me on the board, it read, "You'd better be careful, stick a marshmellow too close to the fire and it all burns up."
Chief:           (trying so hard not to laugh).  Sir, with all due respect, I have to tell you, just before leaving for the council meeting last night, we cooked outside, we won't have many more days like that.  My kids were toasting marshmallows.  I yelled to my son/daughter, "you'd better be carefl, stick a marshmallow too close to the fire and it all burns up."  ....
DV:               (interrupting)  But, but, I, I, the....
Chief:            (interrupting)    Please, Mr ________  I'm sorry to interrupt you, but a preventive warning about the ramifications of sitcking a marshmallow too close to the fire is hardly a warning, perhaps you misunderstood.   This is not a violation of any state or local penal code,
DV:                But, but.
Chief              I'm sorry Mr ___________, I have to hankd up now, we have serious issues that need to be addressed

By the way DV.

Do you support the secret deal to rob the low income people in order to give a rich pension to Farstad?

You don't respond to that question, you took the time to state that you have not provided your position on this secret dealing, but you won't state your personal position.  What are you afraid of?

You claim not to know who PatZ is. You leech off your aunts in Rotterdam waiting to collect the family inheritance and you're discussing this on a Rotterdam forum - yet you're going to call the Schenectady Police Chief?

While you've got him on the phone, ask him how his Nephew is doing.

You and your "ilk" who are constantly launching personal attacks are the ones without any credibility.
And as for my future political aspirations -- I am sure I will do quite well without you.

You keep proving how insane you and your herd are --- if it weren't so pathetic ... it might be humorous.
I repeat what I said previously about you -- you are an extremely poor representative of the Knights
of Columbus.

City may owe fire chief $160G
By Lauren Stanforth Staff Writer
Published: 12:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2010

SCHENECTADY -- The city might have to pay Fire Chief Robert Farstad's miscalculated pension costs after all, this in the wake of last week's controversy that Mayor Brian U. Stratton secretly upped Farstad's overtime to make up the difference.

Stratton and various city staff members will soon meet with representatives from the state pension system to see if Farstad should have been enrolled in the same enhanced retirement system other firefighters are in -- an error that could mean Farstad is owed an estimated $160,000.

Questions first arose after fire administrators were budgeted to receive $74,000 in overtime in 2011 at a time when 14 firefighters are losing their jobs next year due to the current fiscal crisis.

Stratton and director of administration John Paolino acknowledged last week that the overtime was meant to assist the city in paying down what they said was Farstad's single pension payout of $117,000 -- as Farstad was expected to retire in 2011. A person's yearly pension payment is calculated based on a formula that uses the highest three consecutive years of salary, and Farstad had already earned $43,000 in overtime this year in addition to his $106,000 a year salary.

Stratton says despite the extra overtime, Farstad's annual payments would have still been $8,000 less a year because he wasn't enrolled in the 384-E enhanced retirement system.

Some City Council members said they weren't aware such a deal was struck, and Stratton moved quickly last week to halt Farstad's overtime payments.

The mayor then held a press conference Friday to explain Farstad's overtime, saying when Farstad took a leave of absence in 1998 he should have been enrolled in the more lucrative pension. Despite City Council's past objections to have Farstad enrolled retroactively, Stratton said he allowed Farstad the overtime to make up the difference, a maximum $126,000 in overtime over two years, according to the 2010 and 2011 city budgets. It was at the press conference that Stratton said Farstad would have been owed $160,000 under the 384-E retirement..................>>>>..................>>>>...............http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/City-may-owe-fire-chief-160G-826618.php

He's already got $46,000 of illegal overtime. Mayor SOS conspired to rip off State taxpayers through the State pension system. As Wayne Harper said-where's one of the useless City Council rubber stamps getting hot under the collar? Peggy King says nuthin and then recluses herself on the DSIC ripoff. She is a "vital part of the working together team"? We would be better represented by a cardboard cut out.

Shocked! Shocked! That there's is gambling in Casablanca? THEY ALL KNEW. They all looked the other way. They all knew from nuthin-in typical Schenectady fashion. Resignations should be falling like November leaves. From the Finance Department. From the City Council. From the Mayor's Office. Man the lifeboats-trouble ahead! The State Comptroller has started an investigation. Hopefully, Andrew Cuomo will join the fun. Has anyone seen the DA? Just in time for Thanksgiving-A turkey roast!

There is no defending this. There is no way to spin this. All the turkeys have come home to roast. Everything is delegated {per "working together" doctrine} and no one is watching the store. The rubber stamps should be ashamed of themselves for trying to poo-poo the Mayors pension padding scandal. Not one called for a full investigation nor immediate resignations.

Bravo to Lauren Stanforth of the TU for breaking yet another City DEM scandal. No one wants to mention that horrible Mayor SOS also has padded his travel expenses. So he can pick up more environmental and public finances awards? And no, I'm not making that up. At the same time he wants to layoff fire fighters and freeze new police hires. We thought it was mere fiscal incompetence but it is far worse than that. Let the State Comptroller and Attorney General investigate the misdeeds at City Hall. Let the chips fall where they may. This is only the tip of the iceburg. The corruption and featherbedding is waist deep. It's not something is awry-everything is awry. The AG should set up a permanent office in Schenectady County.
