Police probing gas station robbery NISKAYUNA — A gas station in Niskayuna was robbed at gunpoint Monday night, police said. A clerk at the Sunoco Mart, 3522 State St., told police a man entered the store at about 8 p.m. and displayed what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall and 175 pounds. He is described as wearing a short-sleeved white or light-colored T-shirt, jeans and had what appeared to be a stocking over his face. He made off with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen running on Albany Street toward downtown. No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
