Union College took $25 Million OFF the tax rolls
November 13, 2010

This is the value of the residential and business properties that Union College had purchased, making them fully Tax Exempt. Those properties would have had a 2010 City Tax value of $307,742; a county tax value of $160,095 and a School Tax value of $511,820. Union College doesn’t want to pay a PILOT (payment in lieu of taxes) and former president Roger Hull, initiator of the Alliance Party doesn’t support a PILOT either............>>>>..............>>>>............http://patzollinger.us/2010/11/13/union-college-took-25-million-off-the-tax-rolls/

And he doesn't care. And he refuses to support a PILOT to protect vital City police and fire services. And he stated he will not support a PILOT because the City DEMS would waste the money.

It's true but what about the School District? City students will suffer because he's refuses to pay anything.

Union College takes Yet Another property off the tax rolls.
November 21, 2010

We have to believe that this is by design. There’s no other answer. The college sucks the life out of the community then turns around and claims that its bringing “good things” to all of us. No way.

I saw this little ditty in the gazette:...............>>>>...............>>>>..............http://patzollinger.us/2010/11/21/union-college-takes-yet-another-property-off-the-tax-rolls/

Union College takes yet another property off the tax rolls – continued
November 22, 2010

This contains further information about the property itself. Schenectady Taxpayers must insist that the College pay a PILOT equal to the amount of TAXES it has taken off the rolls.

We’re no longer Schenectady, NY we’re becoming New Union City, Galesi, Roth, Highbridge. We are losing our unique identity as well as needed funds to sustain our minimal services.

Roger Hull’s legacy is continuing and we must put a S.T.O.P. to it..............>>>>............>>>>...................http://patzollinger.us/2010/11.....tax-rolls-continued/
