It's the wrong trip, at the wrong time, for ANY president.

Obama's India trade deals to create 50,000 jobs for US workers... sounds like the right time for any president with 50,000 jobs.

Ya.  Uh huh.  That's what the stimulus packages were supposed to do.  How'd that work out for ya?  Oh that's right, 9.6% unemployment.

Don't worry MT it will be 50,000 jobs created or saved if the jobs fail to materialize.

When Obama took office the USA was losing 400,000 jobs a month.  Bush is the reason the USA lost jobs... Obama is the reason those jobs haven't been replaced yet.

At the same time that government jobs are still decreasing, the private sector jobs are increasing... (partially due to the Obama Stimulus).

The November report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics clearly show that the economy added 151,000 new jobs in October which was  still not enough to make a dent in the 8 million jobs lost since the recession began in late 2007...

I blame Obama for not doing enough to build new jobs in the USA...
But
No republican blames Bush for the loss of those jobs.

Bush didn't spend $787 BILLION in stimulus claiming it was for shovel ready projects, then one year later, admit there is no such thing as "shovel ready".  Where did the money go?  It was the biggest pork bill the nation's ever seen. Then on top of that, he spends another TRILLION on a health care bill.

Can you say ONE TERM?

Boxy......do you even have a clue to exactly where this tax paid stimulus monies went! Do you know what jobs they went to?
Let me fill you in on just 'some'.........some went to school rehabs. Which means they are RATE jobs. Union scale/union jobs! Which means the hourly rate was almost double + benefits as opposed to non-union cheaper rate jobs. Some schools put in new heating systems, doors, windows, floors etc, that DIDN'T NEED REPLACING!!!

Putting that aside........after these 'stimulus' jobs were completed, guess what? There are NO MORE NEW JOBS!!! The stimulus money was just a huge waste of taxpayers money. It was a smoke and mirrors, temporary band aid to avoid the inevitable!

WHAT A WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS COUNTRY!!! IMHO

Check it out for yourself.
Some projects were street paving, school repair or upgrade (INSTEAD OF YOUR SCHOOL TAX) Boys Club/Girls Club, Pollution abatement, Law enforcement or law enforcement equipment, Senior citizens, upgrades to 911 emergency equipment... etc

Go to:
http://www.recovery.gov/Pages/default.aspx
and punch in your zip code, or county, or state...

Or
You could just continue to whine and cry about it.

Beware of the word "TEABAGGER"!!!

There are some RedNecks in Fulton County who are so afraid of that word, they will run and hide at the sound of it...
But this is off subject.

All temporary public works jobs.  THIS ISN'T STIMULUS.  None of the above mentioned grows the economy.

All the stimulus does is delay the inevitable, which is the neccessary reduction of government employee jobs, wages and benefits, to be more in line with the private sector.  A.K.A. REDUCE GOVERNMENT SPENDING!

REDUCE GOVERNMENT SPENDING!

I have always agreed with "REDUCE GOVT SPENDING" along with a fair tax system for everyone.
The progressive system of income tax as it is now in place, taxes the rich at a higher percentage than the poor or middle class... at least that's how it's supposed to work.
In reality the richest pay the lowest rate, the poor have none and pay none, the middle class pay for the rich and the poor.

There is no reason that the richest should pay less in income tax rate than the middle class, and if the Right Wingers get their way, that trend will only get worse.

Jack Welch makes $750,000.00 a month in retirement and pays a lower tax rate than a fork truck driver at his old employer, GE.

The Richest 10% Pay 71% of Federal Income Taxes!!!

..............and this isn't good enough?????

Exactly what percentage of the federal income tax do you EXPECT them to pay??

And who is going to buy those yachts that employ people to build and maintain them?
And who is going to buy those million dollar homes that employ people to build and maintain them?
And who is going to join those country clubs that employ people to build and maintain them?
And who is going to buy those Mercede's that employ people to build, sell and maintain them?
......and I'm sure there is even much more.

So taxing the rich EVEN MORE will only lead to less spending and loss of jobs and job creation.

Yes...that sounds like a plan!!!

It would make more sense for the government to STOP SPENDING as opposed to taxes one class of people...dontcha think???
