It's hard to win when you don't run a candidate. Keep jumping up and down about victories over blank slates. I understand why you eager to change the subject from the humiliating record defeats of both County "leaders" SS Savage and ANG. Both of these dolts are finished in politics. Every time a County working together DEM runs for higher office they are resoundingly crushed.

Benny I guess you think Ang is dead until he wins  or comes close then you will cheerlead for him just like your complete 180 on FS since election day... At least some of us remain consistent in what we believe is right rather than having our views determined by licking our finger and putting it in the air...

No... It's kind of like your values. They don't change and you look at the values of the individual running for office and if they are worthy of support, they are worthy of support.  If FS is worthy of support now, why wasn't he 2 weeks ago? Because you didn't think he could win? Sorry I think we need to support candidates we believe can make a difference, not support candidates solely because we think they can win... Now you just look like you are jumping on the bandwagon...

In a PERFECT world and if you weren't talking about schenectady county....people would possibly agree. But this is neither the case!

Historically.....ALL major parties endorse who they believe will be a WINNER!!! And the sheople know that and will cheerlead their 'team' on.............just because!

There are also many candidates who lose/gain support during their candidacy for one reason or another. People really do, in some cases, change their support during a campaign based on the flow of information.

I just see this as a non-issue!

In rotterdam's case.........it was obvious that the town is divided! It was the third party that determined the outcome. IMHO of course

You mean like George Amedore is the great Satan? Maybe you should put a middle finger up to the wind and you wouldn't make a total fool out of yourself. GA crushed ANG- get over it. ANG never should have never listened to SS Savage or you. You can join that other dolt in helping him next year. Nobody else will.

I still stand by Angelo. I still think Angelo was a more honest person and a person more worthy of public office. I still believe George violated the public trust, possibly ethics codes, and possibly laws. I don't believe Angelo did any of those things. I stand by Angelo in defeat as strongly as I would have if he won. I will not support George because I believe he does not represent my values. You on the other hand have turned 180 on FS why?

Like posted before.............many people change their views of candidates before, during and after an election cycle. Some experience voters remorse while others celebrate.
Again...................this is a non-issue for MOST people!

Yer beating a dead horse here! geeezzzzzeeeee!!!

Because he would have been crushed just like GP was. This is all a crock to cover for the fact that ANG switched parties for nothing. SS Savage used him-they both got totally humiliated- now ANG and his three supporters are left holding the bag. They got nothing. All the idiotic predictions, fake polls and baseless accusations totally backfired.

GREAT Question.  I guess you's have to ask Chris Gardner and Brian Quail that million dollar question.  Roy McDonald primaried Hugh Farley a few years back and went from the assembly to the senate.  Angelo had he'd stayed a REP may have been the front runner for assembly if GA decided to move up or on.  TSK TSK Angelo.  You learned the hard way.  Verify then trust.  Not the other way around.  IMHO

As much as I wanted Susan Savage to win -- and I am disappointed that she lost  --- the fact is that the
Rotterdam Democratic Committee  saw 84.6% of its endorsed candidates WIN  and the Rotterdam GOP saw 15.4% of its endorsed candidates win   ..... which would result would you rather have for your party?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

As a GOP'er it's made that much worse when you consider the makeup of that 15.4....

Bear in mind, I believe that Mr. Salamone did very well on Election Day  .. I don't think he has anything to
be ashamed of.   He could just as easily have sat on the sidelines and saved himself the headache and
heartache of running.    So he is to be commended for stepping up to the plate.
