DV has ceased responding to questions challenging him to prove that Schenectady improve.  He avoids any comment on all the rampant crime, the higher taxes in the proposed budget, and the dramatic loss of life saving services by the city.

Instead he keeps using throwing these comments out about regressives, etc. etc.

Well, tell us DV, tell us which of the following is a better choice:

Choice #1:   Regresssing to a time of better police services, to a time with lower taxes, to a time with more city services, to a time where the crime was low -- all these choices even if this choice means that the politically connected millionaires have to pay their own property taxes

OR

Choice #2:   Progressing to a time with less and less police, more crime than the high crime rate that exists now, to a time of less and less city services,  and to a time when lower income and fixed income people struggle so much to pay their taxes that many have to make a choice between paying the tax bill and saving their house, or taking necessary medication.

Which is the better choice, DV??????

Of course he won't answer, but now, anytime he uses that term "regressive" we can all throw it up in his "face" that regressing to a safer, lower taxed city is better.  When taxes are low, when crime is low, people will move here and stay here.  But his "progressive" idea is causing people to leave in droves and making the city very very dangerous

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Don't hold your breath waiting for any answers. DVR is a cheer leader for 35 straight years of DEM ruin in Schenectady and SS Savage ruining the County. In Gary M's immortal words; "The {DEMS} are still driving". Right-over a cliff. The idiotic DEM working together crew.

BTW, if you choose option #1-Vote for Pat Z tomorrow-ROW G. Get out and vote and tell your co-workers, friends and relatives who still live in the City to vote. The DEMS are demoralized and will sit home.

At the last City Council meeting Pat Z offered up cuts that would save every fire fighter and $5 MILLION in taxes. Like a 10% cut in brass pay, no cellphones, Mayor return his JEEP, end the City free car program, stop nonprofit freebies and ending the City Council family health insurance rip off. Pat Z has been warning for ten years that this spending orgy is not sustainable.

No response-no answer-the DEM band played on. The DEMS still want to build a $193,000 cold storage shed. No one said fire the golf pro. Not one of them has any business experience and they all have a militant indifference to the taxpayer. As Mr Quail famously stated,"The DEMS understand the importance of high taxes". No truer words have ever been uttered.
