While the Chinese invest in infrastructure, technical education, and of course either coercing companies to trade technology, or outright stealing it...

We give out entitlements, sell debt, and invest in lawyers to sue school districts, drug companies, or asbestos manufacturers.

With every passing month, I fear more and more for our future.
