SS Savage has raised your taxes 24% since taking office. She keeps raising our gas taxes, heating oil taxes and sales taxes. SS Savage has raised County Real Property taxes 6 times.

The truth about Susan Savage is that she is very nice woman who has worked hard to make
a difference.  Through her leadership as Chair of the Schenectady County Legislature, she has
brought a team together  and by sticking to the concept of "Working Together Works" has begun
to put ALL of Schenectady County back on the path of economic revitalization.

Is the work done? Not by a long shot.  
Are there still problems and hurdles to overcome?   Every intelligent person would agree - Yes.

But make no doubt about it -- Schenectady County is better today because of the efforts of
Susan Savage  .... and  the 44th State Senate District along with the entire state will be better
in the future when she is elected on November 2 to represent us.

Well.......schenectady county is the highest taxed in the state and the 19th highest in the COUNTRY! All under Savages's so called leadership!

People are walking away from their homes because they can no longer afford the taxes and fees ALL under Savages's so called leadership!

Almost every single business that has been lured with taxpayer's dollars to the miracle mile and beyond are TAX EXEMPT ALL under Savage's so called leadership!

There are 1 rapist and 2 shooters loose in schenectady county ALL under Savages's so called leadership!

Schenectady County had the same high tax rate when the GOP ran the County Legislature less than
a decade ago.    Under Susan Savage property taxes have been cut in 3 of the last 5 years and the
tax rate is the lowest since the late 1950's.   ---- that is a start

Now .. we need Susan Savage in the State Senate to do what Hugh Farley .. by his own admission ..
NEVER even attempted to do ---  CUT  UNFUNDED STATE MANDATES that make up 50% of EVERY
county's budget.    If that is the only thing accomplished in the next 2 years, that will make a HUGE
difference to taxpayers in Schenectady County.

We need a State Senator who remembers that Schenectady County is part of the 44th District.  Hugh
Farley has sent  millions of OUR state tax dollars to his rich friends in Saratoga County to help their
economic development and keep their taxes low.     Hugh -- what about us?    We - the folks of
Schenectady County -  MADE you .. we gave you your start ... why have you kicked us in the a** and
forgotten about us ????
