DV says Schenecady is "MUCH improved."

OK DV, Schenectady people are trying SOOOOOO hard to sell their homes.   Since you think Schenectady is so great, here are some houses from which you can move out of mama's house and own your own home.

1186 Lowell Rd.   Asking $299,000.     DV's dem buddy the city assessor claims it's worth $352,000!     Property taxes - you'll LOVE it, DV,   $14,000 per year
***SELLER ACCEPTING ALL OFFERS & HAS WORKED WITH BANK TO APPROVE SHORT SALE ALREADY!*** Stately Colonial in GE Plot offers timeless elegance inside & out! Butler's pantry, mud rm, portico, office/library, crown moldings & box laid quarter sawn oak flooring throughout, laundry chute, servant's staircase, coffered 9 ft DR ceilings, pocket doors, 3 functional FP's, Master Suite. Inviting 4 Season room. Updated Baths, Kitchen, Electrical.

1164 Wendell Ave      Asking ONLY 275,000.   Then YOU have to pay out of your pocket to fix it up, AND pay "ONLY" $11,900 a year in taxes
Infrastructure updates include heating system (boiler, pipes, radiators)and 200 amp elec svc. Original details: beautiful woodwork, detailed plaster work, wood floors. Architect plans for kitchen and baths free to purchaser. Opportunity to restore this grand old home into a modern day beauty!

1079 Avon Rd     Asking ONLY $269,000----asking price has been reduced!!!    DV will LOVE the ANNUAL tax bill, just $15,900  (DV says Schenectady is MUCH improved, and apparently his dem buddies think so to, because the city assessor who wouldn't dream of living in the city, has determined that the value of the house is $382,000.....gee,  DV, can you explain how come people in your much improved city won't even buy a house with an asking price a WHOPPING lower than the assessment value?????   ---but YOU say Schenectady is much improved, going through this "renaissance,"   such a renaissance that an asking price of an otherwise beautiful house, they can't even get 75% of what it is "worth")
You will be charmed from the moment you step on the pillared front porch. Beautifully maintained (new roof, furnace & hot water heater), this home offers great elegance & irreplaceable detail. It is a splendid home to entertain in and raise a family! Historic neighborhood, priv. backyard, cherry Kitchen, front & back stairs, and so much more.

DV, what house in YOUR much improved city are you going to buy?    There's a nice one on Morris Ave too, some historic house, nice house, high taxes and right smack between the drug dealers on Union St and Morris, and the other ones on the corner of Eastern Ave and Morris.

So which one are you going to buy?

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Something has to be done about the ridiculously high taxes or the whole city will be nothing but vacant houses.

they wont be vacant......they will be filled with squatters as many of the homes now are.....and druggies.......so dont worry about
vacant homes......taxes collected--hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.....first the urban renewal with the layoff of
19 firefighters and closure of a firehouse.......but, I do suppose the gang-bangers and drug dealers and druggies would LOOOOOVE
to learn the game of golf via an all expense paid rehab trip to the local golf couse with a professionally paid pro.....isn't that what
private clubs are for??????

where is Lindsey Lohan when ya need her?????

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
