DVR is a perfect example of 'working together' HA!

That is what I mean..............A person is clearly defined by their political affiliation!! PATHETIC!!!

The motto for the new Business Advisory Committee......
'ALL LIBERAL SOCIALIST PROGRESSIVES WELCOME'!
LEAVE YOUR CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS AT THE DOOR!
YOU PLAY...THE TAXPAYERS WILL PAY!

Only is schenectady county!!

YOU and the other Regressives are the ONLY persons who keep saying that
party affiliation should dictate who is welcome.     So obviously, YOU   are the ones that are practice "pay to play" and expect campaign contributions before you will include someone in anything that you do.

Come on DVR....it was YOU who has stated 'for the record' on this blog, that you would work with Salamone IF he flip flopped to a dem!!! And since you are the spokesperson for the liberal socialist party, they clearly ALL feel the same way!

But hell.....look how that worked out for Santabarbara!

Why the F # * K should I? These government "EXPERTS" make me sick. One more advisory group to make back room deals. One more round table to stack with cronies. One more place to put the up and comers so they can throw that on the resume for when they run as a democrap tax-and-spender. Find me one good businessman who ran a place for 10 years and kept the lights on, and didn't have Daddy to get him started. Give me one smart gal or guy who made payroll when times were tough for 20 years. Give me one person who doesn't have an axe to grind, or a grant to get, or a PILOT on the fire with the IDA, or a county contract that might come down the pike soon (yeah, right!) Tough to find, aren't they?

So when DVOR starts acting like he has this great idea to save Rotterdam by having the cronies serve on a board, then I cry foul, and I don't give a damn if someone's Goddamn sensibilities get ruffled.

Whoa i am not the bad guy here......i kind of enjoyed your post.

It wasn't directed at you, Bgage! I didn't think it bothered you. I know it bothered Blowaggio, because he is a liber-democrap censor. So Blowaggio, go shove it up you as$. Are you part of "Revitalize Rotterdam" or something? Oh that's right, you just have our head so far up Mallozzis' asses that when they stop fast your big snozz pops out their bellybutton. Suckhole for free fireworks and cookies.

I don't have any "handlers"  -- I "handle" other candidates.

However, I would agree to be "handled" if you are a nice Catholic woman -- 30-40 years old --
and you love country music ... red heads have always been a preference but not required.

Your post is more than just funny .. it is idiotic.   I don't take orders from anybody and no one from my
party has attempted to tell me what to say or post.  If they did, I would politely ignore them.

Apparently, the GOPers who post here are anti-small business just like the GOP in Congress.

...yeah, we hate ourselves and secretly plot to go out of business by refusing to engage in more big government spending and interventionist schemes, which according to the experts (like you) are the only reason we would ever have a chance to survive.

Ron, I know you would like to stay up and go back and forth while you play "gotcha" with the big government detractors, but unlike you I have a life so I have to get off the computer for the moment. You have no good argument and have no idea what kind of people you are debating small business success with. I know that to be a success in Rotterdam generally requires one kissing all the right asses to get ahead (like it does for instance if you are a policeman or dispatcher in the PD) but there are a hell of a lot of us who just aren't going to bow down to your little gang dictatorship. So you can say things like we are "anti-business," or anti-anything you can think of. But you are wasting your time. Being an entrepreneur means being a rugged individualist, not a suckhole like you or Blowaggio.

What are you smokin'????

It is the conservatives that are trying preserve capitalism while the liberal socialists are trying to destroy it. The government now owns the banks, the auto industry, health care, social security, college loans etc........

The liberal socialist 'say' they are for small business, but only at the cost to the already overburdened taxpayers and only to the 'chosen few'. And that is a fact! Just check out the metroplex in schenectady county and the thread that MC! titled 'why are our taxes so high' under the 'outside schenectady' heading.

Metroplex, Savage and Stratton's development ideas have run schenectady county into the ground. It is clearly not working for the TAXPAYERS!! They are stretching the rubber band to far. One day soon it will 'snap'!!!

you have it a$$ backwards! and are clearly drinking the liberal socialist fluoride.....yup it's gotta be in the water!

To reply to BOTH .. GB and Bumble .. the fact is that you so viciously oppose a simple proposal to
set up some kind of venue for retired and current business owners  of ALL political stripes ( i don't care
even what their registration is or what brand of toothpaste they use)  .. ANYONE who is either a retired or
current small business owner or has some expertise in a part of small business can come forward  to
VOLUNTEER to work with  other small business owner or potential new small business owners.

Metroplex is NOT involved.   Party Committees are NOT involved.  Purely non-partisan ..purely
non-political.

None of the civic or business organization currently in place would be excluded -- they could all
participate in whatever way or extent they choose ---
the simple idea is  get together to help find ways to grow small business in our town -- period.

And despite what anybody says, I don't want anything from this -- recognition or anything -- just
offering the idea and offering to help facilitate the "bringing together" of the folks -- and then I
would be happy to step away and let them run with it.

Bottomline -- I want my town to prosper ... small business is the vehicle to grow the town's economy.
Let's try to have a constructive discussion and work together towards that goal.
