Was the movie Brokeback Mountain an accurate depiction of the early Polish cowboy's?

Betcha didn't know that some of the first American cowboys were Polish. At one time Nebraska and Texas had larger Polish communities than Chicago or New York. My great-grandfather worked a ranch in Nebraska when he first came over in 1880.
OF COURSE they were.......who would actually think to tie up the balls of a bull then get on it????????
I would have liked to have been there for that conversation.
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

actually ... if you studied American History .. you'd discover that persons of Polish descent made many great contributions to America.
Did you know for example that a Polish Catholic Church .. Saint Adalbert's offered the FIRST modern high school curriculum when its school opened in 1903. The first school in the city to teach ... algebra, trig, calculus, chemistry, physics ... also the first school in the city to offer a Kindergarten. Students could study Latin, Greek, Polish, and German. The school attracted students from as far away as Texas.
Did you know that first detective in the city .. was a person of Polish descent ??

Is this a thread for Polish jokes? I would love to hear some!
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
Actually, the first graduating class from Union College included a young Polish-American. Zabriski was his last name ... i forget his first name.

Sad - my maternal grandmother was Polish-American ... but she was such a good cook the Italian ladies wanted her to cook the Italian dishes or give them her recipes/secrets.

So you've seen the movie. I'm sure you have the DVD and watch it daily. After all, they are your early Polish-American ancestors.
Actually, I have never seen the movie. The only movies that I watch are the old ones on TCM.
As for your little barb about my ancestors, you can go screw yourself.
