I would honestly ban the use of political signs!! REALLY! What are their purpose. This little colored sign on a hanger stuck in the ground. I don't know of one person who drives by a sign or says.....'hey look at that nicely done sign, I think I'll vote for them'!!!! I mean really! The electorate is already being being bombarded and pressured into listening and reading about these candidate by flooding tv, radio, the internet, mail boxes and even covering the landscape!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Savage bans texting while driving......why isn't she banning these signs??? Does she honestly think that people should be driving 40+ mph and yet they can take their eyes off the road to read these signs???? Then the ridiculous issues start............ someone stole my sign someone moved my sign someone's sign is in front of mine someone's sign is higher than mine CALL THE POLICE!! They should be banned. IMHO
couldn't agree more, how about taking all the wasted money and giving it to the schools for their budgets or the local coat drives or how about use it to pave already good roads and call it the wasteful recovery act, or add it to the town budget to pay people who are volunteers in town hall, lolololol Bottom Line Stop the SIGNS, there a waste of money and clutter up every town every year |

It just goes to show .. if they can't win an election honestly they have to resort to dirty tricks.
I have no idea how many signs you are referring to, but policy wins elections not your name on a sign, if that were the case many realtors would win by accident around town with all the people having to sell their homes in this economy, oh wait its election time, I think the news said it is looking good out there |

Back when I was running for Town Board, I would have preferred no lawn signs. But running as part of a team, I went along with the other two candidates. If I run in the future, I would have only a few strategically placed signs -- only on friends' lawns .. friends who live along the major roadways -- Burdeck St,, Curry Rd, and such similar roads. |

Actually the song is a George Strait song. Besides, I have a great voice and look great in my cowboy hat and chaps. |

Betcha didn't know that some of the first American cowboys were Polish. At one time Nebraska and Texas had larger Polish communities than Chicago or New York. My great-grandfather worked a ranch in Nebraska when he first came over in 1880. |

I can proudly say that my ancestors were pilgrims, cowboys, and vikings. |

Was the movie Brokeback Mountain an accurate depiction of the early Polish cowboy's? |

Let's talk about anything except how these two phonies SS Savage and ANG, who are both going to be crushed, bought signs out of the area. Someone told me that these signs weren't kosher but I couldn't believe that these buy local phonies would actually go this low. Surprised SS Savage and ANG didn't go to China. No wonder the DSCC has pulled out of the losing SS Savage mess. |
