Word must be getting out about Ang buying signs from out of state. I overheard people talking about it in a store today!! I can tell ya that they were NOT happy!!!

They are not happy because they weren't told all the facts.     Even if Amedore ordered his signs locally,
they were actually printed  OUT OF STATE.

I also know that Mr. Santabarbara used local printers for his other printed materials.

The fact is -- you can order the signs locally and pay MORE to go through the middle-person because
then they farm the work to out of state firms
or ..... you can save some money and order directly through the out of state firm
or ...... you could save even more money and not order any signs at all

Hey, I'm just tellin' ya what I overheard. And it wasn't in rotterdam where people are defined by their politics!

He still doesn't get it. When you buy locally the money stays local. If the signs are made here-so much the better. DVR likes repeating the same lines over and over. Matthews Signs makes signs locally. Parcel Post Plus makes signs locally. CBS-6 caught 2 big phonies ANG and SS Savage red handed-lol-Everyone is shocked at a new low for these DEMS.

For these 2 phonies ANG and SS Savage who both constantly lie about job creation to get caught red handed by CBS-6 with their nonunion out of State signs is hilarious! The one time they could have helped some local merchants they went out of State and helped Penn and Florida merchants. No wonder the State DEMS have dumped on SS Savage and refuse to help ANG.

Does that mean people shouldn't buy from the supermarket because they get their fish from china??

And does it mean that people who travel outside of NYS for their cigarettes now are being frugal??

DVR obviously doesn't have a clue about economics and about supporting local businesses!

That must be why he supports the recover grill (chain) and doesn't care too much about what that will do to the local, family owned watering holes!!

I buy local as much as possible -- we buy a lot of our produce, meat, etc  direct from farms and
producers within a 100 mile radius of Schenectady.    That includes farm stands here in Rotterdam
Brown's.
In general, I refuse to buy any product made in China ... especially at Christmas time .. have
boycotted China at Christmas for the gross human right violations and mistreatment of Catholics
in China.
The franchise for this Recovery Room Sprots Grill is owned locally --- I support the project ONLY
because it is cleaning up a vacant eyesore.   As I do not frequent "gin mills" -- I don't financially
support any "gin mills"  local or non-local.

Then your statement is incorrect. You ARE supporting the gin mills through tax dollars.

Go to hell? Temper temper Ron.

Very early on in the threads about the Recovery Room --- the Regressives denied it was a restaurant
and labelled it a "gin mill" ....like it was some evil entity   (along with places like Bomber's).

I have always held that the Recovery Room was a restaurant .. my latest comment was a statement
that I really don't go to bars or "gin mills" ... yes I do go to restaurants and you will find that I have
posted a few restaurant  recommendations on this blog.

I never said that I buy "only American" -- I said I choose to not buy products made in China
for Christmas -- that includes decorations and items that I give as gifts.    My "tradition" is to buy
small gifts appropriate to the person  at small family owned businesses either here in the area or
when taking a vacation or day-trip.    So - if you were so lucky as to be on my gift list - you might
end up with a jar of preserves from a farm stand in Washington County or an Amish made ornament.
