This bothers me not. They'll need a court order to enter my house.

I am surprised that the resolution about "erosion and sediment control" has not garnered greater
interest.

the 'fee' is to uphold the neuter/spay for the poor to be able to afford at a nominal fee so they too can have pets.....what an F'EN joke.....

There are tons of people in schenectady county who own dogs and have for years and have NEVER licensed them. They are inside dogs or dogs in a fenced in yard! The state was smart! They knew nobody licensed their dogs and they will continue not to!

That's all schenectady county has to do is 'arrest' the already overtaxed taxpayer for not paying for a stupid dog license!!

Not to mention the dogs that will be put to sleep at the animal shelter because people won't pay for a stupid dog license!

How about rescinding FDG's secretary's $10,000 stipend. That would cover the dog license fee!!

The state is requiring that all dog owners register their dogs .. and that local governments be solely
responsible for running the program and enforcing the licensing laws.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if a town or city just refused to enforce the dog licensing
law,   I mean .. if it is ok for towns and cities to NOT enforce illegal immigration laws -- why not try the
same tactic when it comes to licenses for dogs ------  shouldn't an undocumented dog have the same
right of sanctuary ????

well .. no tax dollars are being asked for to build the dog park or to maintain it

we will seek donations to build it and charge a use fee for the permit to use it -- and it should actually
provide a net revenue gain to the town to help finance other aspects of the town's parks and recreation
program --- so I would say it is a win-win for the taxpayers

And when people are sick of it, or it isn't being maintained, or there isn't enough revenue to keep it
open, then it will be closed just like the skateboard park, which was to be used for PEOPLE!

The skateboard park equipment was put in storage by the previous administration.   The Parks Commission
is looking into options to bring it out of storage and put it back in use.

As for the dog park,   I hardly think that 2 or 3 naysayers -- and I actually think it is one person with
multiple personalities --- is not enough to block progress from happening.

BT--few seniors are going to Glenville.  The problem is even fewer are going to Rotterdam.  Rotterdams Assoc is dwindling in numbers.  Under John D there was no outreach to the "junior" seniors.    The problem with your senior population now is many are quite frail to participate.  You also don't have a real director in the center.  There are MANY happenings in other towns that benefit seniors.  Unfortunately the Reps in Rotterdam did everything they could to kill off interest in the center.  Thank Tomassone for that and Mertz.
