I am predicting that the GOP will win enough seats to retake the House of Representatives and will
come close to securing 49 or 50 seats in the US Senate.

Every seat that the GOP picks up in the Senate makes it unlikely that ANYTHING will pass the Senate
for the next 2 years.

Thus, I predict that we are in for at least 2 years of political gridlock in DC.

No major change from EITHER side of the aisle ... until after the 2012 Elections.

The Party of NO will keep on saying NO.  Then blame the Democrats.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

That is why I call them RepubliCAN'TS    ... they keep saying we can't .. we can't ... rather than trying
to say   YES, WE CAN" and then doing it.

Except the latest Quinnipiac Poll shows that the Tea Party is NOT seeming to help the State GOP ticket
at all ... and Carl Paladino is NOT helping.    If the Democratic state-wide slate polls 60+% of the vote
as the polls show -- and Tonko polls 60+%   .. this will boost Angelo Santabarbara and Susan Savage
over the 50% to victory.

I think there is a chance  .. Paladino could do the IMPOSSIBLE ....  get less than 50,000 votes on both
the GOP line and the Conservative line   --- that would be way cool.

Wonder what job Harry Reid will be doing come January 3, 2011 ?   I think he is all but finished in
Nevada.

And West Virginia is poised to elect a Republican to the seat formerly held by Robert Byrd --- who would
have thunk that was possible ????

They won't be around much longer unless they figure out a way to attract viewers and the cheer leading for the progressives in power won't do it.

I have no problem with "progressives" --- at least how I define a "progressive".

I do have a problem with the SHARP left turn that the national Democratic Party has taken AND the
SHARP right turn that the Republican Party has taken.   The solution lies somewhere in the middle.
