Rev Grigsby is not a priest .. he is a protestant minister.

I doubt that Saint Adalbert's would move to Rotterdam --- although it does have 5 wooded undeveloped
acres behind the cemetery.

As far as the church closing -- that was not part of the plan layed out in the long range planning that we
did -- and I was a part of that study group.    In all likelihood it will share a priest with either a neighboring
city parish or with one of the other 2 Polish "ethnic parishes" left in the diocese.

Priests, witches, what is the difference?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Isn't Marcella's new building owned by Galesi and only leased to Marcella? (not sure)

Macella's owns it.  Assessed at $2.7 MILLION and notice from the link below, it is 100% exempt from taxes.  The taxpayers of the city foot the bill on an assessment of $2.7 million, not to mention how many other multimillion dollar assessments that the lower income homeowners foot the bill for of the business owners who are very well heeled.

Not all witches are evil and work for satan many are good.         The different types of Witches:

Kitchen Witch: It practices by home and hearth, mainly dealing with practical sides of the religion, magick, the elements and the earth.

Ceremonial Witchcraft: Mainly use ceremonial magick (obviously) in their practices. They commonly use Qabbalistic magick or Egyptian magick in their rituals.

Satanic Witch: This deosn't exist. Why? Witches don't believe in Satan remember.

Celtic Wicca: Goes by the elements, the Ancient Ones and nature. They are usually healers or respect them highly. They work with plants, stones, flowers, trees, the elemental people, the gnomes and the fairies.

Eclectic Witch: Doesn't follow a particular religion or tradition. They study and learn from many different systems and use what works best for them.

British Traditional Witch: A mix of Celtic and Gardenarian beliefs. They train through a degree process and the covens are usually co-ed.

Alexandrian Tradition: They are said to be modified Gardenarian.

Gardenarian Tradition: Follow a structured root in ceremony and practice. They aren't as much vocal as others and have a fairly foundational set of customs.

Dianic Tradition: Includes a lot of different traditions in one. Their prime focus now-a-days is the Goddess. It is the more feminist side of 'The Craft'.

Pictish Witchcraft: It's originally from Scotland and is a solitary form of The Craft. It is more magickal in nature than it is in religion.

Hereditary Witch: Someone who has been taught the 'Old Religion' through the generations of their family.

Caledonii Tradition: Also known as the Hecatine Tradition, it's the denomination of The Craft with a Scottish origin.

Pow-Wow: Comes from South Central Pennsylvania and is a system based on a 400 year old Elite German magick. They concentrate on simple faith healing.

Solitary Witch: This is one who practices alone, without a cover etc.. following any tradition.

Strega Witches: Originally coming from Italy are the known to be the smallest group in the US. It is said their craft is wise and beautiful.

you can practice witchcraft if that is what you like ...  but IMHO ... it is evil
that is why you will never see a witch decoration on my property .... and any kid that dresses as a
witch will get a anti-Satanism tract in their goodie bag instead of candy at Halloween.

The fact that St Adalbert's has moved the great Harvest Festival from Mount Pleasant to Colonie speaks volumes. The present location is as bad as the worst of Hamilton Hill. Don't let what happen to St Mary's happen again.

A beautiful church on top of Eastern Avenue sits vacant and they can't even sell the rectory. Another City neighborhood in complete free fall from years of official neglect. Maybe this idiotic SOS curb tax can have the beneficial effect of saving some churches by forcing them out of the imploding City.

So the already over burdened, over taxed taxpayers are footing the tax bill for a multi-million dollar, relocated business!!!! Savage and Gillen bought into the blackmail threat! Too bad Karen Johnson didn't do that when GE threatened to move out, huh?

Actually it is held at the Polish Community Center  IN ALBANY

There were 3 reasons for the move:
        a) this event has become a HUGE success drawing people from as far away as New Jersey and
Maine ...  and the parking lot  and parish center just did not have the space    ... nor were
              all 3 floor handicapped accesible
         b) the City School District  began a 5 year lease of the parish center building ... and with the
school schedule it was impossible to start setting up the booths and tables .. 7 to 10 days out
like we had done in the past
          c) Saint Adalbert's is working very closely with the Polish Community Center and Saint Michael's
in Cohoes to promote Polonia ... and Polish institutions ...  the Polish Community Center has
a huge parking lot ... the 3rd largest ballroom in the Capital District  (only Empire State Plaza
and the Hall of Springs have larger ballrooms  ...   the Polish Community Center also has
a pavilion , outside space, and other rooms that we could use for festival activities

Those are the ONLY reasons that the Harvest Festival location moved ... I should know .. I have been
one of the Co-Chairs of the Festival for many years.

SO simplistic. Many Catholic priests work for big government tyranny too.

Wonder if DV will be at the meeting tonight supporting his parish against the curb fee.  Wait, maybe not because there'a a public hearing later this month on that piece.
