44th State Senatorial candidate Susan Savage has been endorsed by the
New York League of Conservation Voters.   This non-partisan group which has - in the past -
endorsed BOTH GOP (endorsed George Pataki for Governor on a few occasions)
and Democratic candidates have backed Ms. Savage against 34 year
incumbent Hugh Farley -- whom they label as "at the bottom of the list" when it comes
to promoting conservation and envrionmental concerns.

That's a great endorsement for Farley.

Quoted from Shadow
That's a great endorsement for Farley.

Actually NOT .. since the NYLCV is considered "middle of the road" in environmental matters --
trying to balance what is good for the economy and what is good for the environment -- and has
backed BOTH Republicans and Democrats .. liberals and conservatives .. in the past.

They targeted 3 State Legislators for defeat this year -   Stekowski -from Buffalo - who was
defeated in the primary by a NYLCV endorsed candidate;  another guy from down state who
was defeated in the primary by a NYCLV endorsed candidate;  and the third incumbent targeted
for defeat is  our very own  Hugh "double-dipper, do-nothing" Farley.    Let's go for a
clean sweep of anti-conservation State Legislators

Trading Farley for Savage is a non starter, she is worse than he is and he's pretty bad.

Ok...let's just see what the COUNTY leg. chair has done for the SCHENECTADY COUNTY.....

Shall we start with people walking away from their homes because they can't pay the high taxes?
Shall we continue with the fact that Schenectady county is the 19th highest taxed county in the COUNTRY?
Shall we continue with the fact that crime is rampant, with murderers running loose with guns in the county?
Shall we continue with the Kosiur, created, patronage job of $80K + benefits at taxpayer's expense?
Shall we continue with the inadequate DSS building that is busting at the seams?
Shall we continue with a 60% unemployment rate?
Shall we continue with supporting unsustainable proctors with the already overburdened taxpayer's money?
Shall we continue with the fact that she takes credit for using taxpayer monies to relocate businesses from end of the county to another
Shall we continue with the fact that while Susan Savage is running her campaign on the 2 blocks of state street, while ignoring the rest of the county as it is falling down around it?

And yes the business community that is backing Susan Savage are the 'chosen few' that have benefited by the metroplex funded by the taxpayers.

Susan Savage is a scam at best!!!! IMHO

Proctor's is a major draw for State Street and brings Broadway quality shows to town.  It has
put Downtown Schenectady on the map as a destination for world class artists/performers.
The new DSS building is a HUGE improvement over the old building and it has revitalized an
empty building which was just an eyesore.

Crime statistics do NOT indicate that crime is rampant and local police agencies and the DA
have done a great job arresting and convicting those persons who have committed murder.

Schenectady does NOT have a 60% unemployment rate - so that accusation is a complete lie.

Relocating businesses that wish to STAY IN the county and grow is preferable to having them
leave the county to grow elsewhere.

Schenectady County has high county tax rates due to the State Legislature passing down the
cost of UNFUNDED STATE MANDATES  --something that Hugh Farleyhas done nothing to stop.

Your criticisms are either complete fabrications, lies, or distortions of the actual facts.
