Now smokers get their cigarettes from other states!!! The ones most effected......the lower income people who can not afford or don't know anyone who can travel to purchase cigarettes from these other cheaper states!!!

As far as taxing the indian reservations......that's another joke. They can sell cigarettes, tax free, only to other indians. Well what the hell, people will have an indian buy them for you!!! duh!

Calorie counts at resturants, unenforceable texting while driving, supporting BPA ban.........and yet no mention of tax relief in her own county....just high taxes!  Increase in crime in her own county. Roads in shambles in her own county. An overflowing and inadequte DSS building in her own county. Murderers running loose in her own county. Taking credit for already existing jobs through relocation in her own county. Taking credit for the Metroplex that has not lowered taxes, as promised in her own county.

SCHENECTADY -- Police Chief Mark Chaires has identified the victim of a fatal shooting Saturday as 18-year-old Terrill Reese.

Reese was found with a shotgun wound to the chest on Tremont Avenue around 3 p.m. He died shortly afterward.

Chaires said he did not want to reveal details about the shooting, including a possible motive, for fear of compromising the investigation. Chaires said he couldn't comment on reports that a car drove away from the scene shortly after the shooting.

Chaires said Reese was not a Schenectady resident but had family in the area.

They should have a mass resignation-led by SS Savage as soon as the Election results roll in. Mayor SOS refuses to utter the word gang. There's a gang war going on-18 year old gang wannabes are murdered and nobody knows nuthin. Where is Tonko on all this? He has time to speak at some commie rally and to support Hamas but he can't come up with a nickle in Federal funds for a Sheriff's anti-gang initiative?

Teenager arrested in killing

A city teenager has been arrested in the September shotgun slaying of another teen, police said Thursday. Charged with second-degree murder was Georel Lloyd, 18, of Ontario Street. Lloyd is accused of using a shotgun to shoot and kill Terrill Reese Jr. on Sept. 18 near the corner of Tremont Avenue and Watt Street. Police spokesman Sgt. Luciano Savoia described Lloyd as initially a subject of interest in the case. He was brought in for an interview and then charged, Savoia said. “Through the investigation and good police work, they brought him in and interviewed him,” Savoia said. Lloyd was arraigned Thursday and ordered held. The investigation was continuing, Savoia said.
