They fan the flames of Muslim hate by burning the Quran, and by opposing the NYC Mosque as an insult to ALL MUSLIMS.

Don't fan the flames of Muslim hate?  I thought there wasn't Muslim hate.  I thought they were a peace loving people?

Unfortunately for the civilized world there is still a great deal of fanatical Muslims living in the dark ages.  And I won't curb my freedom of speech because a bunch of 3rd world barbarians are threatening violence against me.

...oh but we have to because there are so many of them and they control the world and they own all that is good and just and right and pure. They are pure like the driven snow and full of love and peace and flowers. WE must change our rules, laws, customs and holidays because of them. After all, Islam IS the official religion of the democrap party. Pretty soon all democraps will be wearing turbans and refusing to bath for months on end too.

...don't forget, it is always ALL OUR FAULT AS AMERICA for anything wrong in the world. Learn your lesson or go to re-education camp!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

No where did I oppose the RIGHT to burn the Quran... just as I don't oppose the RIGHT to burn the US flag.

Actions have consequences... I don't condemn all Muslims by the ACTIONS of a few.
Actions have consequences... I don't condemn all Christians by the ACTIONS of a few.

In both cases the ACTIONS of the few fanatics will result in the death of innocent people.

Box ..open your eyes and take a look at the AMOUNT of people that will be in the streets protesting  chanting "death to America" when a SINGLE pastor burns the Quran...it blows your a few fanatics theory out of the water.

Remember the 'few fanatic' Christians  who were outraged about 10 years ago when a cross was displayed in urine, and a virgin mary was made of elephant dung.

This group of "Christians" is an embarrassment to all Christians.  Kind of like the crazy uncle at a family reunion... just looking for attention.

Peacefully voicing outrage and opposition toward "art" that is considered offensive by Christians, verses Muslims hanging the President of the United States in effigy, burning American Flags and chanting "death to America", or better yet, threatening the lives of the South Park cartoonists for portraying Mohammed in a bear mascot costume, isn't even in the same universe when comparing fanatics.

NEXT!

Please list how many non-christians were killed by IED's or be-headings because of this event?
List how many Pastors or Priests issued a christian version of the Fatwa?
I will give you a dollar for every christian that protested this in the streets and you give me a dollar for every muslim that does the same for the Quran burning...deal?

Please list how many Muslims were killed in Iraq... Not soldiers in Saddams army, but civilians, women and kids.  Who killed them?
We did.
Who invaded their country based on lies?
We did.
Who destroyed their country, installed a puppet government, then left the country in shambles and civil war?
We did!

If I were an Iraqi kid growing up in the last 8 or 10 years, I'd hate Americans too.

C'mon Box, stay on topic, I know you can do it without throwing a red herring.

Let's take your Iraq analogy as justifiable Muslim terrorism at face value.  Your "eye for an eye" argument.

Answer 55's question PRE-9-11.  How about Muslim fanaticism during lets say...the Clinton years.

Box... I'm still waiting for answer of my dollar per protester offer.
I doubt I'll get a response though.
It's obvious that once you are cornered you run like a scalded dog, change the subject, or just ignore it.
Typical lefty...

so...how 'bout it?

Tbird.
Your rhetorical proposition was not taken seriously so I disregarded...

You live in a free country that has been attacked just a few times in our history.  Sept 11 is huge for America, but would be a minor attack in many places that the US has waged war.

When US jets fly into a Middle East country and drop bombs, you consider it a military operation.  The enemy sees it much like you and I view the Sept 11th attacks... An unprovoked attack killing mostly civilians.

GWB said, those supporting terrorists will be treated the same way as the terrorists if they harbor the enemy.
Most of the Middle East considers Israel their enemy, and the USA as it's strong supporting ally.  We kill the Taliban who supports AlQaeda, and they kill Americans who support Israel.

Really, read some history.

You propose an asinine bet and call me a coward for not taking you up on it???
WOW Tbird.
I bet your a sucker for a "double dog dare" !

It would appear that your battle ship typing fingers have overloaded your rowboat brain...

Really, read some history... you might learn something.

Hey 55--Stick it up yours--my nephew just got out and spent several years in Iraq.  I hope your son is safe and on our soil.  And btw I belong to Veteran's for Peace.  Maybe your son will be interested in this organization when he gets home.  Burning Quran's puts his life in danger.

He is not on our soil.. and will be in harms way in January. Burning Qurans should not put his life in danger, considering Islam is supposed to be a tolerant religion..which as practiced in the middle east countries, IT IS NOT!
Putting fear for ones (or ones families) safety ahead of the right of free speech of a lunatic is NOT free speech at all. You cannot pick and choose what speech you allow, if you claim to believe in free speech.

I'm sorry for the previous post, but when you spray a bullshit generality without knowing the facts, you have to expect the response. The difference between me and the savage Islamists in the middle east, is I'm not building a bomb or planning to kill people because of the insult.

It wasn't an asinine bet as you want to equate the christian response to an insult to the Muslim response.
I asked you to put your money where your mouth is, and you turned and ran like a coward.
