You mean you would lie to the town supervisor about something.  Especially something that is attached to town property.  Are you afraid of what you have been doing during work hours?

I am not saying I would be willing to give up my password without written reasoning.  But you may want to check your employee handbook.  Pretty sure it is in writting in there

Giant, I thought you were the victim of IED. Good to see you made it. Why haven't you been on under that name to root for the demopcraps lately?

If it isn't my favorite poster.  GB, I am back from the Middle East.  No IED's for me.  As for not posting on this board....well I prefer real conversation that isn't so full of malice and hate.  Many posters here are very blinded by their own BS that they have no clue what the world outside Rotterdam looks like.  I was going to post on many occasions but stopped myself.  The realization that trying to reason with walls just doesn't work.

I am sure that I would be able to have good informative conversations with many here in person.  It is just the Mob rule mentality that rolls through the posts that limits the realism.  I post on here like I talk.  When I first got on I wanted to know how Rotterdam ran.  I asked many questions and got bombarded with attacks on my occupation and integrity.  Two things I do not take lightly.  So seeing as how I know people wouldn't say the same things to me in person I just didn't see the point.  As for posting now, I have some time to myself for acouple of days and figured what the hell.

Have a good one and sleep well.

There is no reason for a user to provide his/her password to anyone even during an investigation.  Those with system administration
privileges can access all files, including e-Mails and IM logs (if retained).  Further, a Sys Admin can change a users password.

The information contained on an employer's computer system is the property of the employer, including personal information that a
user may have placed there.  This is why many companies have an IT policy that forbids the use of company owned computer assets
for personal use.

I agree w/ Bumble that I would give them a phoney password and then wait to be approached by someone informing the user that
the password provided is incorrect.  This will provide some insight to if an unauthorized person attempted to access someone else's account.

You are missing the point. There is no need to supply your password. The administrator already has ALL of this information.

Why argue with a democrap operative who is trying to pretend she is otherwise?

The administrators already have access to ALL information that comes and goes on every computer at TH. From passwords, to emails, to im's to on line banking, to porn and yes even to this blog or any other site on the net. They know EVERYTHING that each computer user does IF they choose to check. Every business, corporation or municipality has the same identical things! Are the powers to be just figuring this out?

That's why I say........asking for passwords is ludicrous!

YOu guys are wrong.  My office manager has all of our passwords.  And when I worked at the town, the Super had my password.  Maybe people played loose after that.  I amsurprised since Tommasone was such power hungry dope.  However, no one has asked for private passwords.  But even there, I just left a board of local non-profit where the outgoing CEO was required to give up ALL her passwords.
