Now you understand both parties are greedy self serving and really don't care about the taxpayer once their candidates get elected. You better check with the people that live in Schenectady and surrounding towns as the taxes have been going up each and every year. You may not call it a tax but to the people who have to pay it is a tax. An increase in just about every fee that the city can think of, the reval done in the towns have resulted in an increase in taxes that the towns have to pay the county, property, school, state increased fees on all permits and licenses, and the Federal is going to finish the taxpayer off with their tax increases to pay for all the entitlements that they have created. I agree we need change in representation but I don't feel that Sue S is the person I want in Albany based from what I've seen while she has been in control in Schenectady.

If it's anything like the "REAL change" that came to Washington, thank - but no, I'll pass.

County taxes have remained farily level .. under Sue Savage's leadership.

and again .. what has Hugh Farley done to cut our taxes ???

What has susan savage done with our taxes??? And what does Suzie's husband do for a living? It would appear that it would be a conflict of interest if she were elected....correct?

More of that real change thang? We heard that somewhere before.

The pity is you could have taken Farley out with someone that doesn't have the stink of Schenectady County. Given his horrid opponent more than willing to give him one last victory lap.

I agree benny.........suzie has a lot of pandering to do to garner votes. The lesser of two evils is Farley! Suzie still carries the mud in her eye from the Kosiur fiaco! And I do believe that with her husband's position........conflict of interest!!! That needs to get out there to inform the people before Nov.

The Savage campaign is being run by a bunch of nit wits from NYC. Have you seen her video? Wait until you see the results from Glenville and outside the County.

This is no contest. Farley will eat her for breakfast. DEMS will be secretly voting for Farley like they have for decades. The last thing we need is another Upstate DEM that votes like they represent the Upper West Side.

Farley has been in the State Senate for 34 years  .. promising reform .. but never delivering.   I remember his first campaign 34 years ago ..  my uncle ( a GOPer) and my Mom ( a GOPer) thought Farley was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
All those years in office .. and what has he accomplished ??   Not much.

It is time for a change.

not too mention that jr. farley is a bit of a twit

a "bit of a twit" .. that is an understatement

I will say that Hugh at his best was light years better than his son - that is the problem with "political dynasties".

Hugh has had 34 years to improve Albany -- and has not -- so now we need to vote for change -- and Sue Savage is the change that we need.

My kid is out there right now as we speak in Rotterdam collecting signatures for SS and she is having NO problem getting them.  Farley spends almost $70,000 on mailings from the Senate.  What an outrage.

I have to agree with DVR on this one! The amount of money these twits from both parties spend on what are effectively campaign mailers is offensive! I don't care if it is legal, we are in a terrible budget year and education is being cut like a hot knife through butter and these legislators are going to spend our tax dollars to get reelected!? I don't care what party someone belongs to. This needs to stop and it needs to stop NOW!

If GA really cared about reform, like he tried to hood wink everyone into believing at the senior center 2 weeks ago, he'd actually make himself abide by these rules whether they became law or not. But GA doesn't care, he just cares about hood winking people into voting for him!

Vote Parisi in the Republican Primary!!!

Parisi is a loser as are all the possible Reps.  GA had no business bringing that program to the senior center.

I would rather the state spend $11 million on state parks than $11 million on these stupid mailings ---

Spoken like a true liberal. (not that reps do the same) Ya just have to find SOMETHING to spend the taxpayers money on. How bout let's shrink the budget by $11M??

The worst mailing I have ever received.....Tonko....who talked about how he attended the Lady of Mount Carmel festa and he proceeded to congratulate the sheeple constituents on their culture and their community(as if they do it for him) and he thanked them for being so hospitable.....AS IF HE WAS A KING.....he sent this out via his constituency's cost to THEM......SAD SAD SHAM.........I wasn't even there
but he thanked me anyhow.....DORK......

GET HIM OUT.....HE IS A STICK IN THE SAME MUD....MOVE OUT OF THE HUT NOW.......

I think we should do all that we can to cut taxes .. but when we do spend state tax dollars .. I would rather have it spent on something that EVERYONE can use and enjoy .. like state parks.  the money spent on these stupid mailings is just wasted and the politicians have money to pay of teh mailings out of their campaign treasuries.
