CICERO...
Do you like tax cuts???
Do All Americans like tax cuts???

If there is a surplus, or a windfall, or a huge cut in spending, then tax cuts are appropriate... especially when they are distributed FAIRLY.

So ... I would be against a tax cut for just Democrats...(I know you'd be for a tax cut for just Conservatives, but that's the difference between you and I.)

The Bush Tax Cuts were BORROWED... Not a surplus, not spending cuts, not a windfall... The Bush Tax Cuts for the RICH were borrowed (mostly from China) .

Who in their right mind would be in favor of that?

Fairly?  Fair would mean equal wouldn't it?  Are you proposing a flat tax?  Because that may be something you and I agree on.  Under the current "progressive" tax code, the achiever is punish for success.  That's not fair, is it?

If we are going to have to borrow, then I'd really like to have it go to the people that PRODUCE  something, rather than have it go to people that do nothing but COLLECT something.

If we are going to have to borrow, .

The ONLY reason that Bush borrowed, was to give the Rich a tax cut.

Borrowing money to give a tax cut??? does that make sense to you??? Our grandchildren will be paying for this cut.
This continues the largest redistribution of wealth in our history.

Borrowing to jump start the economy, to provide health care without controls while ignoring the disaster and corruption monster that is medicare, and allowing the illegal immigration problem to go unchecked.. does that make sense to you?

Largest Redistribution of wealth? Not quite.. go back to 1965 and add up all the money that has been given to non-producers through government entitlements.
And even that will pale in comparison if the UN gets its way and pilfers us under the guise of global warming.
