My understanding is that the CVS proposal is hampered because Rite-Aid holds an option on the corner building.

Something should be done soon - to address both vacant buildings.

I agree - someone on the 2nd floor at Town Hall should "take the bull by the horns"  -- just a thought but if  1/10 the effort was spent on cleaning up these vacant eyesores as has been spent on moving 5 town employees around and around ... maybe some progress would have been made to build something new on the site ???

Just makes you wonder, what are our code enforcers doing to make sure these eyesores don't look like this?  Maybe the Metroplex will come in and give someone some money to demolish all of these buildings.  Meanwhile, maybe they can help with the Curry Road Shopping Center.

I want the new municipal and community center to go where the Curry Road Shopping Center is ....

What we need at 4 Corners is a decent barbecue restaurant.

You mean you're not eating over at the Supervisor's new place?

Let's just say that I will be eating a pizza at Mr. Parisi' pizza place -- if they reopen it -- long before I eat at the place on Mariaville Rd.

Sorry, but I think we've already discussed the investigation, or the lack thereof.  It probably at this point falls back on the town and the people who aren't doing their jobs.

I am not sure if the insurance company has completed its investigation.

I don't think an insurance company's investigation would be public?

Doesn't the police and/or fire dept ever end up knowing what was the cause of a fire?

Of course.....they have to validate their pay and response to calls and equipment etc etc.....and there are stats to collect to raise

The insurance adjustors have indicated they're either complete, or nearly complete (last I talked to Mike was a couple weeks ago).  Right now the hindrance is getting the building down safely with the snow.
