Ah Cicero...
so your one of those rare Conservative Right Wingers who DO NOT consider America to be a "CHRISTIAN NATION".

This is what ya gotta love about liberal hypocrisy.  Liberals like box have no problem generalizing and labeling American conservative "right wingers".  Making the unsubstantiated assertion that MOST conservatives believe America is a Christian nations, and that I am one of the "rare" conservatives who do not believe this.

But...When you point to the FACT that MOST terrorist are from a radicalized wing of the Muslim religion, all of a sudden we are conservative bigots, fueling the radical Muslims.

It actually amazes me that liberals like Box made it this far in life with such an apparent double standard.

.

"MOST terrorist are from a radicalized wing of the Muslim religion"... Irreverent!

If true it's a good tool for the CIA FBI or Homeland Security to track down terrorists.
Is this Radicalized wing of Muslims building a mosque in NYC???

NOPE... But it sure makes good propaganda!

Liberals like Box make it because they are able to include a larger environment in their thinking.

Yes, making everything relative.  His/Her larger environment includes first blaming America(specifically conservatives) for all the worlds problems.

The proposed mosque is not AT ground zero, it is a few blocks away.
There have already been mosques (though less cathedral like than was planned) in a far closer proximity to ground zero, for more for more than 20 years.
Some are in storefronts, some in apartments.

People who actually live there, and lived through the attacks, as opposed to those who saw it on TV, and will likely never venture within 100 miles of the place, are all for it.

The locals are not in favor of the grand style version of it, because they too, "know what time it is", (unlike some jackasses living in Montana that think Al Queda is going to attack their local Wal-Mart if it comes to fruition), however, it is a fairly decrepit neighborhood, and any improvement is welcome, even if it is a mosque, hiding in the guise of being a "community center", that is being built next to already existing girly bar.

Even Jewish groups are backing it.

If you don't live there, had close personal friends die there, or have any other ties to the situation, then please, shut the hell up.

I feel exactly the SAME WAY about people who are outraged and want to boycott Arizona, harass Arizona, and sue Arizona, for trying to patrol their own state and keep their people safe. Do you?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I feel the same way.
It's easy for people in Boston or San Fransisco to call Arizona's policies racist, but then again, they aren't witnessing running gun battles, and drug wars in their streets.
If anything,  Texas and New Mexico should adopt the same policies,  as the lawlessness that used to define "the wild wild west" begins to take hold of those places as well.

I could probably be defined as a centrist in that I believe in MY COUNTRY, right or wrong, as opposed to MY PARTY, right or wrong.
This ain't a damned baseball game.

Sorry, no hable politically correct.

I'm not trying to thread jack, so I'll take the rest of my thoughts (many agreeing with you) to the proper thread.

BOLD CAPS!!! UNLEASH THE FURY!!!

Graham,
~I don't live in Georgia, but I as an American would protest racism there because racism effects ALL AMERICANS.
~I don't live in Louisiana, but I am effected by the BP spill because pollution anywhere in America is an American problem, not just a local Louisiana problem.
~Racial profiling in Arizona effects ALL AMERICANS, not just the locals in Arizona.  Racial profiling is an affront to the US Constitution, an so is an offense to ALL AMERICAN.

Violations of the US CONSTITUTION are a VIOLATION AGAINST ALL AMERICANS!

Well then you have negated your friend tommy's advice. I suggest you actually leave Schenectady (if you can afford to after you pay your property taxes) and visit Arizona to see how Arizonans, including those of Hispanic heritage feel about the matter.
