Don't get all crazy about FDG's charity. Isn't he the one that said the Town Clerk is an elected official and only needs to work one (1) day a year? And didn't he move the dog catcher to DPW (at a cost in our Hwy. taxes) to provide General Fund money for our new Deputy Clerk? So the Town resident's are paying $80,000 dollars for two clerk positions of which one is only there, and last year when the Rep. were in the majority, we didn't need a Deputy Clerk, but now that the Dems are in the majority, we do need one! That's very generous of FDG, but my math shows the Town at a net loss even with his donated salary!

If it is true that FDG donated his money to the Sr. Ctr. kitchen, it's my opinion that this wouldn't be considered a "charitable" cause. It is just a means to shuffle the Town money from one place to another. Hopefully, FDG donated his salary to a bonafide charitable organization.

Hmmm, the girl EE booted out earlier in 2010, was ready, willing and able to do the job in 2010 (she was appointed as Deputy Town Clerk from October 09 to December 09) for NO EXTRA PAY!
