-Things I've learned moving here...
-That 8k you get for a first time homebuyer... don't spend it, you have to pay it back when you want to move in 6 months.
-Our town looks very "ghetto" with all the beat up roads, spray painted roadsigns, the infrastructure really makes this place look like crap.
-Every yahoo has a bike or fast car and wants to drive 100 miles an hour on my street, And a few of them openly get the middle finger from me, i have a baby who plays in my yard while your zipping by jerk. On a side note, i count on these same yahoo's for protection from the gangs of schenectady, lol.
-Property values are still high, get out why the going is good.
-Lots of very nice people live here, but I have never heard so much racist talk in my life. Those "people' you want out of your city, are the last hope. You should slap all the immigrants moving here from other countries high five, cause without them, schenectady county would be a ghost town.
- High ratio of people collecting unemployment and working under the table. I think some people should learn a thing or two about doing your part. I have decided to turn in every violator I meet as to do my patriotic duties. How can our government steal our money when the illegally unemployed are?
Seriously.. 6 months in an i can't get out of here fast enough, nice town and all, if you got a bulletproof vest and like watching things fall apart around you. Anyone wanna buy a house? I write this half sarcastically, but seriously, it's time to start looking for a 2nd home already. |
