Penalty Kick, who said the comptrollers office called me and explained the audit????  I am sure I did not.  They released the report and we were told about it.  There has been discussion as to what it means and a couple people have explained things to us.  Not sure if having reading skills makes me more superior than you, but if you read my posts you can correct your post.

And BS, I have not watched BG at the town meetings, but when you talk to him person to person he does not talk down to you, even if you're a Republican.

As far as what the Dems think of GP, they wouldn't be digging up dirt on him at town hall if they were fans of his.

And who said Zorro has to be a "Sir"?

Zorro let's get this straight, you spout off about the IDA audit, admit you haven't read it then question  another poster's reading ability? Why don't you use your stellar reading ability to actually read the report? You criticize Parisi's demeanor and brag about Godlewski being a man of the people, yet you then admit to not watching him at town board meetings. You claim that Parisi earned absurd amounts of money then refuse to post the documents that you say exist that backs this up.

Based on your inability to base a single comment on fact, you are no longer known as Zorro. You are now to be known as Zero!

Lol, that was a good one Gerard!  Getting a little testy I see.  Zero, lol, that was very creative and funny!  Let's see if my math skills are any good  zero = the same number of seats you retained in the last election as chairman of the rotterdam GOP. lol.

As for the IDA audit, it appears that Lamendola, Chris Gardner, Bob Godlewski, Robert Mallozzi and a few others agree that you and Angelo were off the reservation on the SI Group PILOT.  I don't think we've heard the end of that one though.  Watching town board meetings isn't necessary, I hear about all day long the next day.

Don't fret, the attorney's (all of them) fee documents will be made available for the entire town before too long.

Cordially yours,

Zorro

RIDA offers incentives, including low-interest fi nancing and exemption from certain taxes, to attract,
retain, and expand businesses within the Town of Rotterdam, in Schenectady County. RIDA
enters into formal payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreements with project owners, enabling
tax jurisdictions to recover a portion of the real property tax exemptions granted to the projects.
For the fi scal year ended December 31, 2008, RIDA reported revenues of $259,700 comprised of
administrative fees and interest income, and expenses of $72,000 comprised primarily of professional
fees, Board stipends, and miscellaneous expenses.
The Board identifi ed eight projects1 with
exemptions totaling more than $1.5 million in 2008.

Finally, RIDA’s 2008 annual fi nancial report was not complete and accurate. Two active projects
were not included in the report. Further, reported school tax exemptions for two other projects were
misstated by approximately $683,700, and one project’s school tax PILOT was under-reported by more
than $420,000.
When RIDA offi cials do not ensure that the annual fi nancial report includes complete
and accurate information, interested parties cannot properly assess the results of RIDA operations
.

But can we get a breakdown of EXACTLY who got what and EXACTLY where it went? Perhaps that information isn't available.....I really don't know. Just curious.

Sheeesh, can't you guys just hold back for a little bit?  I said it would all be available during the election I mean during the next few months.

I am sure we'll find out exactly what the $4,000 in "office expenses" were!  Must have been all those reports they never finished.

Spidey, I apologize for calling you Gerard, because he wouldn't be so stupid as to actually DEMAND disclosure of all that will be disclosed.  Seems like you are a supporter of his and if so you may want to ask him if it's a good "idea" to push for full disclosure?

Hey, did I hear that AS was supporting an anti-nepotism policy or was that Frank "the puppet" Salamone?

Don’t be surprised if, like Governor Paterson’s proposal on Ethics Reform http://www.legislativegazette......r_ethics_reform.html , Deputy Supervisor Robert Godlewski offers an amendment to the Rotterdam Ethics Code to require lawyers serving as local legislators to reveal their clients and income derived from those clients.  After all, someone has to be the taxpayer watchdog!

Seems to me that would flush out exactly how much income the Platt Parisi and Sacoccio firm does with Golub, REMS, Rotterdam Ventures, Rotterdam Fire Districts, etc…
