I know, Sunnie, why don't you re-read my posting about the American Catholic Church, and take a long hard look at the American conference of Bishops, and our very own bishop.    ???

Then when you get a chance, if he is still a priest, go hear a Father Brucker sermon where he bashes the 'conservative republicans' from the pulpit and imagine it occurring in half the Catholic churches in the land, because it is.

Fr Brucker is retired and no longer active.  His health apparently is failing.

In all do respect.....the catholic church ain't what it use to be. The huge beast, catholic charities is nothing more than the arm of the liberal system. And that is just one example!

I guess I am lucky .. my priest doesn't bring politics intohis homilies.  I would walk out of any church
that bashes anyone or takes partisan positions.
