Oh that's good - cite the source of the video as the "exact transcript".  You can tell, unless you're a moron, there's obvious breaks in the video, something was omitted, else it would have been a continuous stream.

"there's obvious breaks in the video, something was omitted, else it would have been a continuous stream."

What is "obvious" is that you will only believe what you see on Fox News...

When people are interviewed, there is often dead space, or dead time, that is edited out of an interview.  Almost any news show that is prerecorded will have dead space edited out... EVEN ON FOX!

But it is a great source of "Conservative Hysteria" ...

Until our country disbands it's foreign aid policy all together, we will continue to see more of the same. If countries want to be sovereign in their government and domestic policies, than they should also be sovereign financially. Let Iraq create their own wealth and protect their own citizens and boarders as they see fit. Same for India, Croatia, Afghanistan AND Israel to name a few.

Let there only be foreign trade with equal taxation across the board globally. Ban businesses/corporations from doing business in a country other than their own. TRADE ONLY!!

It is time to stop financial global welfare to sovereign, foreign countries. It clearly is NOT working!

And this is what happens when countries accept financial 'welfare' aid. This is what happens when countries accept arms. This is what happens when countries accept military training from other countries. Don't think for a minute that the united states PUSHED itself on ANY country. They accepted our financial aid with open arms. They accepted our money, military training and arms with open arms. AND AT THE TAXPAYER'S (us) EXPENSE! So it is clearly a two way street here.

Again I say.....stop ALL foreign welfare to ALL countries. Pull ALL of our troops out of ALL countries. Let them sink or swim on their own. And again...until that happens, we will see more of the same bull crap.

Boxy.....remember.....it's a two way street.

I agree with much of what you are posting Bumble...

We should only be involved in other countries when it's in the best interest of the USA and only as far as it fits our purposes.

One other point... Most "foreign aid" isn't US dollars sent to other countries... It's usually handled in "credits" which other countries use to buy goods and services from US CORPORATIONS... kind of a Foreign aid/welfare program for private US companies.
Much of the time, the aid never leaves the USA.

A senior Capitol Hill source tells me that General Stanley McChrystal had tendered his resignation to President Barack Obama and that the White House is actively discussing a replacement who could be quickly confirmed by the Senate.

The source said that among the names being touted as possible successors are General James Mattis, the outgoing head of the US Joint Forces Command and due to retire after being passed over as US Marine Corps commander, and Lieutenant General William Caldwell, commander of Nato’s Training Mission in Afghanistan.

Of course, offering to resign is not the same as actually resigning and it remains to be seen whether Mr Obama will accept the resignation. Donald Rumsfeld offered to resign as Pentagon chief on more than one occasion but President George W. Bush requested that he continue in post before eventually firing him in November 2006.

I believe that there is more to this than what we are hearing. Just ask yourself....WHY....would McChrystal give this kind of personal damaging interview to ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE? He has a heroic history that has spanned decades. This interview was not created in a  vacuum. It just doesn't add up.IMHO

McChrystal Told the Truth
by  Rowan Scarborough
06/24/2010

The military is finally telling the unvarnished truth about President Obama's dysfunctional national security team.

Oddly, Gen. Stanley McChrystal and his inner circle chose to dish dirt to a reporter for Rolling Stone, a decidedly left-wing publication that portrays the U.S. military negatively and knows as much about counter-insurgency as a 4th grader. The article that brought down the career special-operations soldier throws in the "F-word" several times, not as a quote, but to describe the author's own views.

Not included in the story is an ongoing dispute between the White House and its generals that shows why McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan, had grown so frustrated.

The debate centers on when exactly troops will begin leaving Afghanistan. Every time a Pentagon figure, such as Gen. David Petraeus, the overall region commander, testified that Obama's July 2011 withdrawal date does not mean the U.S. is abandoning Afghanistan, there was a White House official saying nearly the opposite...................>>>>..................>>>>........................................http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=37657

He got it right? The guy was pissed Obama didn't take time to get to know him personally.  The general was more bitter on a perceived personal snub then anything else.

Get better links please.

Good it be that the general was a little irate at Obama due to the rules of engagement he had to have his men follow.

Don't think McChrystal did this interview in a vacuum. And don't think for a minute that there are many military men and women who share the same views as McChrystal. If obama  starts losing support from his own military, which appears to be happening, obama's regime will start to unravel....if it hasn't already.

This is VERY serious!!
