New tenants at Rotterdam Square Mall
The Business Review (Albany)

A store that sells sterling silver and another that pays cash for used cell phones have opened at Rotterdam Square Mall in suburban Schenectady, N.Y.

25 Silver, a distributor of sterling silver handpicked from artisans in Mexico, opened in the location formerly leased to Glennpeter Jewelers.

The store also sells jewelry from more than 13 regions around the world.

The other store, $ell Phone$, pays cash on the spot for used cell phones and iPods. Phones that are too old to receive payment can be recycled at the store.

If they buy jewelry then they will have a crowd. Forget about selling anything. Another example of the great business climate in this County. The "renaissance" continues unabated.

Malls are a dying breed and the owner of the mall is just trying to hold on.

Retail in this overtaxed County is a dying breed. Try finding parking at Colonie Center.

When you have a lot of businesses you can lower taxes because you have a lot to draw from. When you don't you need to raise taxes to make up for the loss of tax revenue.

...great idea, then you get rid of the pesky rest of them. I figure if my loaves of bread aren't selling for 5 bucks too well, i should jack up the price to $20. Great marketing scheme. Long term success is ensured, especially when the other market sells them for $3.00.

Do you teach economics too, Steinberner?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
