A laundry company in Ballston Spa will close in September, eliminating 93 jobs, according to a notice filed with the state Department of Labor.
Angelica Textile Services Inc., at 125 Bath St., will close Sept. 16. The company cited economic reasons for the shutdown.
Angelica, which launders hospital bedding and uniforms, is headquartered in Missouri. Alan Van Dyke, who handles employee relations at the company, could not be reached for comment this morning.
The plant in Ballston Spa has operated since 1977. As recently as 2005, it had about 150 employees.
