Years of inbreeding had also taken its toll on his
intelligence (he was retarded) and his powers of procreation (he was impotent).

good luck getting an answer...

what ever happend to fdg's super sec. and that grant she applied for?

how come there has been no activity at the old curry road plaza?

larnard wants to put 200 units up on his land
100+ units at curry road plaza
4 more units by that other guy
what are they building by behind that salon on curry road before the circle??  more homes there

what is all this development going to do to property values around town?  good luck if you were planning on selling in the next couple years, the market is going to be saturated....

So wait - I've got a question.  He states in the first video that it's for homeowners or business owners on the rolls as of 5/1/2010. What about all the people that have bought property since that time? Before the date was changed, that's almost 2 months of new property owners not getting a say in the vote.  By November, it'll be 6 months - likely a significant change in property ownership changes in 6 months, I'd think.

Also, you get one vote, no matter how many properties you own. BUT - according to the first video, if a husband and wife each are on the title, you get two votes?? Did I understand that correctly??

You did...which means some property owners will have more votes on the question than others...could be two, three, or more.

And here's another item - while each property owner has only one vote, it has not been determined whether multiple property owners
will pay for each of those properties, or just one...or which one if it is.

When the volunteer squads started rallying for this tax, they originally asked for a flat tax...of "around" $15-$17 per year, according
to Pat Green, leader of the White Eagle squad at the time. Every time attempts were made to plan a vote on this, there always
seemed to be some obstacle...cost...poll locations...issues of all sorts with the squads. They never even made it to eligibility
determinations, absentee options or any of the more recent confusion building around this vote.

Now it is to be based on assessed values, not only raising the starting average annual cost, but forcing some to pay more than others
for the same thing whether any of them use the service or not.

And now there are problems with scheduling, poll locations, absentees...confusion over referendum language and associated
legalities...no one knows exactly what they are voting for, while they don't even know there are other options.

This, on top of everything else...all for a vote that was never necessary, on a tax for which there has never been a single justification
to even consider, let alone impose.

Yet there is Doogie and the Godlewski Bandit still trying to figure out how to salvage this scheme, even as it finally seems to be
falling apart.

then there is this other big democrap over in the city Chet Godlewski (NO RELATION) and the guy they put in charge of weights and measures named Todd Godlewski (NO RELATION) which cracks me up since there certainly aren't 700 Godlewskis in the phone book. C'MONNNNNN enough the bull. All of this nepotism is a joke.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I just drove past Long Pond Village apartments on Campbell Road and they have signs offering a $99 move-in!   Their website is offering “first month free in phase 2.”   Eight buildings and only three are at full occupancy to date!
Now we have the proposed DeLorenzo  AND Larned rezones being reviewed by the Town so that another 252 apartments can be UNOCCUPIED as well.   What’s with the Planning Commission and the Town Board…do they have a problem with short term memory?  Do they not remember that the Sync property was rezoned recently for multi-family living?  Do they not remember the fiasco that Long Pond has created (thanks to the IDA)?   The Long Pond IDA was the feather in Mr. Brassard’s cap before he left the IDA position.   So, again do we really need another 252 apartments to destroy the character of our neighborhoods?  Does every square inch of our town need to be developed simply for the sake of saying that there is new development?   Oh wait, these rezones are favors …I guess that doesn’t count!   Hopefully the Town Board members will make this their new “crusade” and recognize that Rotterdam has enough multi-family living options already.

Heh - their website has a "buy now" button (top left on the menu) that let's you purchase their software for the scripts running the website. (links to http://www.opencube.com/buy_now.asp)

Good thing they're sticking to apartment development - their website development skills need big help.

Yes!  Additionally, commercial and business property owners only get one vote for each owner.

Permanent career opportunities that offer a good salary and benefits, not more temporary service jobs that pay minimum wage
without benefits.  Metroplex continues to waste our tax revenues on subsidizing restaurants, retail stores, and not-for-profits while
Albany county and Saratoga county attract technology and manufacturing companies from outside the Capital Region to establish
operations.

There will be no change to the standard of living of Schenectady County residents until spending is reduced, taxes are
cut, and infrastructure is improved.   There needs to be an audit of the Department of Social Services to identify waste, fraud,
and inefficiencies.  Negotiations on union contracts must be done so that the results are fair for both the employees and the
taxpayer.  To accomplish any of these objectives, the people must elect leaders with courage, conviction and new ideas, not the same
old self-serving party hacks.

at least bring business that manufactures the ideas developed in albany and saratoga

sorry
no water
no sewer
high taxes
high electric rates

thank goodness the 200 plus appts will get us barely a mile of sewer line just shorts of the rr tracks

at least with all the new traffic the thruway and I-890 will get 30' high noise barriers

if this town can fix a water line they sure as hell can dig a sewer line - we just need to save $10,000 for the railroad permit

So how does a developer/businessman get a grant for sewers for a non-economic job creating project?  This is reminiscent of the Long Pond IDA status that also provided nothing . . . .
