Oh come on spidey....of course people are needed to step up to the cesspool plate and jump in. But ultimately it is the people on the outside who complain about, support, influence, motivate and campaign/vote these politicians in office. So yes, metaphorically, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

I'm sure there are people on this forum that, as you would say, 'bit*h without action', that are more active and effective behind the scenes than on the front lines. And are making an impact. This is nothing new to the political process!!!! Politicians need these people!

The GOP isn't the cat - the government is.  You talk about people bitching and moaning on this forum and doing nothing, I know Brad and Michael used this forum as a sounding board, then did something.  With what I assume to be a lot of support from many of the anonymous members of this message board.  They burned a lot of shoe leather and spent their own money trying to "skin the cat".  And for not having the support of any of the major parties, they did quite well.  If the NNTP candidates received the GOP endorsement(which is what they originally tried to do), they would still be the majority on the TB and may have even picked up an extra County seat.IMO
