Oh pipe down donavan.  If Mertz is helping the opponent you stand a better chance.  He is so out of touch with what is happening, I am amazed his still has a job.    Now I think GP is not a very good candidate either but Amedore has already shown he can't do it.  Ang will walk away with  this--just hope he parts ways with GP.

I've known TD for many years. Unfortunately, she, like DM, compromised their principles for the praise and puffs of sunshine up their *** by their party dictators.  Neither are, IMHO, nothing other than mouthpieces sent to do the partys bidding in the hopes that they'll receive "praise" for their "good behavior" and backing of the party. Both have compromised their principals in hopes of a future "position" provided by the party.   TD was a good person when she joined the committee many years ago - she still is, but she's taken a kool-aid bath with the Republinuts and now believes whatever she's told. It's amazing that she's fallen to their brain washing.

Like a mushroom is kept in the dark and fertilized, so too are TD and DM.

If AS is smart, he will stay clear of GP and his connection with rotterdam politics if he doesn't want to dirty up his campaign.

Wasn't AS the chair of the rotterdam IDA board when GP represented them? Did GP have this legal appointment BEFORE or AFTER AS became it's chair?

Was GP elected, selected or appointed to be the ida attorney? And if selected or appointed....then by who?

AS can't stay clear of GP because they are working together!

AS's appointment came directly from Parisi as Chairman to the Republican board members without any input from anyone.  All Republicans voted yes.

As a quid-pro-quo (this for that) AS steered the board to hire Parisi at $200 per hour.  My understanding is that they rarely if ever asked him a question during their long IDA meetings.

One thing is for sure, GP controlled the IDA from under Angelo's coattails, all you need to do is look at the SI pilot for proof of that.

Bumble, stop asking so many questions.  Just be patient, this will all come out in the election.

Zorro i have no idea where you get your information but you may want to take vengeance for they have provided you with incorrect information. First of all Bob Ryan was the IDA attorney-not GP. Second, GP didn't make $140k from the town.....his firm earned $99k. That 99k was for services his firm provided and I'd imagine that means attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, and other research expenses were funded from this 99k. What is the current town attorney costing us when you include secretarial staff and research fees, after all these costs were all part of the 99k GP's firm earned.

What does it matter that GP did work for Golub? Are you suggesting there is some mass conspiracy between Golub and the Town of Rotterdam? If there really was such a mass conspiracy I would think Golub would have kept their headquarters in Rotterdam rather than moving them to Schenectady... That is some conspiracy right there, Zorro. Take the mask off, I think it's blocking your vision!!!!

TOWN REAPPOINTS LEGISLATOR TO IDA

The Rotterdam Town Board voted 3-to-1 to reappoint County Legislator Angelo Santabarbara, R-Rotterdam, to a three-year term as chairman of the town’s Industrial Development Agency.

Angelo was on the IDA Board prior, but I don't believe in the capacity as chairman.

When he was selected/appointed and by whom??

Great points Spidey!! But you missed 1. GP and his firm didn't receive health insurance, pensions, vacation, or any other benefits from the town. The current town attorney and secretary do! Yet another way these guys are costing us more money than GP!

Speaking of ways GP saves our money better than others...while GP has been running for assembly on a platform of cutting spending, Amedore is in favor  of increasing cigarette taxes and  taxing indian reservations! Here's a brilliant idea: curb spending  and stop raising taxes!

GA is in favor of the Indian's actually paying cigarette taxes! Stop the presses! How dare they actually have to pay taxes like every other retailer. Talk about the "local" cheese that's another big vote getter.

I recently spoke with Mr. Parisi. He says everything that has been said by Zorro and others about how much his firm earns is nothing but complete unadulterated lies. I challenge anyone here to post proof of these statements. Otherwise it's obvious that you are just trying to spread lies in order to help "the chosen one".

Funny Peeps...Actually I mean like lies saying GP called FDG illiterate.  He said FDG was uniquely unqualified, you all ran with it. But find me someone in town who doesn't think FDG is uniquely unqualified! Seems to me Parisi has been the truth teller all along. You ignored the truth on his take on FDG, hopefully you won't make the same mistake when talking about GP...

OMG!!!!  Did GP really use a adjective that has the root word ADULTERY?????  LMAO!!!!!!

Now Pubic, you should know there are no secrets here in town hall!  If you REALLY want to know just FOIL it!  You won't be the only one.

As for mr.lantern, at least if you come to town hall you can actually see the town attorney!!!!!  As for Parisi running as a tax cutter, what a joke!  He spent more time meeting with REMS guys IN TOWN HALL the last 3 months of 2009 than he spent in town hall total for the first 9!

GFP is arrogant and selfserving!  Sticking it to the lowest level town workers, WHO WERE DOING THEIR JOB, to watch him stroll in for 10 min and then leave!  Nobody wants him around and this campaign will finally put us out of our misery and he'll be gone.

As for the Golub work, GFP did virtually zero work for Golub prior to becoming Rotterdam Republican Chair and now it's his number one client!  Coincidence?  I don't think so.

Maybe someone should have told him to be a little nicer to us peons.

Zorro I have no idea what the problem is with saying it is an unadulterated lie. As far as all these foilable records go, I'd imagine before you started spewing lies you'd have already foiled these records in order to be sure your statements were correct. Being that's the case, I'd imagine it'd be real easy for you to post those records on here. If not, I'd suggest you go check the records before spewing lies. You owe us all an apology for trying to cloud this forum with misinformation!
