I think it's gonna get nasty.

Bumble, I'd hate to live in your world if you think death threats don't require a notice to the police. You must be involved in some pretty intense stuff if you think this is normal...

As for KR, agree with her or disagree with her, she NEVER threatens to kill anyone, and she doesn't send stuff anonymously either. She will tell you what she thinks to your face...more than I can say for others....

So there isn't a single person here who thinks that this could have been sent by someone other than Gerard?  He must be a real bastard, huh!?

I don't understand why that's anyone's first reaction.  Surely Boomer will shed some positive light on this situation, and be concerned about this death threat.

I doubt Gerard would lower himself to fabricate such a story.  Get real!

There are plenty of idiots that would do that, knowing they would never get caught or if they did, get in trouble. I got a similar postcard, not quite as threatening a few months ago regarding this race. It basically ran down Gerard. I am also sure George had nothing to do with it either. Some clown who is over exuberant must have sent it. Some people are just idiots and get very wrapped up in their own self-interests.

I'm just amazed that the Gazette would run the story before the results of the police investigation.  The timing is quite curious as littlesal points out.  The article was filled with insinuations and little fact.

Elected officials often receive strongly worded and threatening letters, yet rarely do you see the media report it.  But, as many realize, this is a orchestrated effort between the Dems/Rotterdam Reps/Gazette to unseat George and elect Angelo.

I don't understand.  Parisi received a threatening postcard.  That was the story.  The Gazette didn't report that Amedore, or some other goombah, sent it.  They just reported that it was received.  Lighten up!

It would be interesting to know exactly why some people actually believe this was a deliberate set up? Except for the fact that it is just soooooooooo rotterdam!
