Ask yourself; do you want to vote for some who wants to serve the people or serve themselves?
Parisi never does anything unless he's getting paid, Salamone is Parisi's errand boy, Calder would be a good choice if he wasn't going to double dip from the Rotterdam taxpayers (in other words, do the job for free) and Tomaselli is the only one that is hard to find something wrong with.

Calder maybe a triple dipper....
retired cop - pension someone posted that he works for mohon as district investigator ($25/hr)?? possible future town board member
Bottom line..........we need some checks and balances for this runaway train wreck.
I would prefer tomaselli as a choice for town board. He appears to be much more electable. He has family roots in rotterdam. He owns a respectable business in rotterdam and well known. And although he has not gotten up to speak at the 'golden podium', he is conservative in ideology and well spoken.
Salamone would not be my first choice but it may end up being rotterdam's ONLY choice.
IMHO

A friend of mine retired from a Montgomery county job with full bennies.....she can never work again for a double pension or even take full salary as per her years of experience.....in otherwords she's already milked the cow.....
Does the town/county/state/feds all over do this? is it specific to profession/job description or union contracts????????
TRANSPARENCY...........

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I believe it is up to the union contract...many police officers have careers after being a cop.
they are allowed to 'double dip' on town/county/state/fed bennies? even after already serving one tour of service?.......right or wrong I dont know, just curious right now....

I don't know...but I've spoked to Gerard personally and he is NOT pursuing the seat. He made it clear when he was appointed that it was for one year. I guess that settles that.
