3 of us went to the Turf Tavern in Scotia for easter "brunch". The menu was breakfast items and lunch items. The breakfast "bar" was typical quiches, pastries etc. The "lunch" area had lamb, roast beef and ham - very thinly cut. They also had "too cheesy" Seafood Newburg, salads etc. I had the roast beef and lamb, found them both extremely overdone and dry. The shock came at the end when presented with a bill for $80 .. the "buffet" was $24.95 each! I thought that was outrageous. For that price, we could have eaten at Glen Sanders or ...
Their week day meals are good, but I think they were over their heads trying to get this modest variety of food ready for the number of people they had.
