The city will NEVER NEVER NEVER be revitalized, there will NEVER NEVER NEVER be a renaissance until the city (and you) starts addressing the high taxes, starts working on making the neighborhoods a better place to live. A city CANNOT survive without safe neighborhoods full of people, full of homeowners who take care of their properties and pay taxes. The city WILL NOT surivive as long as it ignores the neighborhoods and taxes people out of their homes by giving the taxpayers money to the rich downtown.
