Nice, when the conversation goes over your head do you always throw out random comments?

The Russian mofia is well and functioning in NYS with insurance fraud.....and when those STUPID billboards show the father, kid, mother crying because dad did a dumb thing....guess where the bulk of the $$$ is being funneled too......russia......

BTW---we may not be mirrored exactly as russia(in it's strangeness)...the reflection in the mirror just isn't perfectly in line....ever read Atlas Shrugged.....??? It's a great read

Many Russians are poor, but Russia isn't. Moscow is the world's most expensive city now. After the communist system collapsed in1992, local Mafias took control of a lot of areas, and many of them still operate. Russia is a wealthy nation now, but with a large gap between the rich and the poor.

It'll take a long time before the wealth gets through to everyone, if it ever does with so much corruption in the place. They've got enough coal, oil, gas, metal ores and agricultural land to supply half the world if they had to. Be very afraid. If they get their act together they could too be a very big force in the world, and the way it's going it won't be very friendly either.

If they link up with China, their combined force would be very difficult to beat. So we have to keep good relations with China. Russian spending on the military is only a tenth of what USA is spending at the moment. It could change.

As you requested in another thread - do you have a source for that statement?
